  • Chanz, the Vanquis card is aimed at people who have a poor credit history (they generally don't pay back) and hence they're a greater risk. Those who pose a greater risk have to pay more APR. If they did not then either they could never have credit or we would all have higher APR.

    My point is I made money out of them lol, I have , tesco cc, rbs plat, capital one progress, flybe. lowest apr 16% highest 19.9
    Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

    I see, when I had my Vanquis I did not know about or the cashback offer was not on. 4 Years ago now.

    Fingers crossed for you! Its a fantastic feeling when you given credit again and a chance to rebuild your credit history.

    Have they sent you a letter yet requesting further ID?
