Buymobiles.net hidden VAT!

Has anyone else bought a phone / contract from buymobiles.net that stated Vat Included only then to find Orange add Vat

£25 contract vat included now costing me £30

Any advice welcomed

you'll need to take this up with Buymobilephones, if you have proof of the contract offered then they should be able to sort it out with orange or cancel it.

The first bill is usually bigger because the billing month starts not at the same day as the contract.
This often confuses customers. Check the dates covered by the bill.

That said, mistakes do happen: 20,000 Tesco points for mobile contract, more expensive than advertised

I've checked the orange bill online

Panther £25 +£5 vat

But ok give them a month....

No point in waiting then. Contact the retailer and make them to sort this out.

BMP state clearly on their website:

£ 25.00 a month
This price includes VAT applied at 20%
