If not I will just have to forget the GCSE's until next year. .
Colleges don't decide exam dates - the exam boards do. The dates for the summer exams are available from the exam boards - the vast majority are May-June, I can't think of one exam our student sit that is in July. The differences in dates you are seeing between colleges are different exam boards.
You will NOT be able to sit GCSE exams outside these dates. Non-modular exams are sat in the summer (on the days the exam board says) and retakes are in January. I suggest you call up the exam boards you are interested in or visit their website to find out the dates of the exam.Save £200 a month : [STRIKE]Oct[/STRIKE] Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr0 -

Well for all 3 subjects they say June. None in July as said, but also none in may.0 -

Well June then. I am sure I will be allowed time off in june also if it is for my GCSE's. May just scrap march holiday.
I have emailed aqa as some exams say they take place in january but according to an old school teacher (still teaching) who is using AQA says all exams are in July.
Oh well what will be will be.0 -

Now I am getting confused !! .......
Your original post said that there were 3 dates where you needed to take holidays.
You later said that you are happy to change some dates if required, and then later you are not sure what dates you need to book !
From experience, I have had staff who constantly book, change, re-book, change etc. holidays and expect their colleagues and employer to fit in with whatever they want on that given day, which is very frustrating for everyone.0 -
