How do I know if I paid PPI to my Credit Card?

How do I know if I paid PPI to my Credit Card? I've had it since 1993 but don't know if I've got the original agreement filed anywhere although I do keep paperwork. Not in my current file but I might have it somewhere. Would any payments for PPI be hidden in the interest charges? Many thanks.

It should be stated as a separate item on your statements

So if it's not listed, then I've not paid it?

That is how I understand it yes, others may know different and be able to advise but usually it is separated on your statements. You could just phone them and ask the question directly, they may tell you there and then

You are correct. It is an entry on each bank statement. It is not hidden awayI am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. Just a thought you have your card since 1993 and it's still live, speaking from experience PPI could have been present at any time over the last eleven years, as in my case , however if you have statements going back that far and PPI doesn't show then obviously not0
