I need to request data, specifically a recorded phone conversation when AOL broadband contacted me sometime last year. I have all the details I need to know at hand, I've written the letter out and have the address to it too and enclosed the £10 administrative fee.
My query is, although I'm specifically requesting data from a single phone call from a specific day and time can I get any more information at the same time? Rather than spend £10 on obtaining a single piece of information can I ask for that and everything else they may hold on me? Basically where is the limit? The phone call data I'm requesting is obviously vital but can I request anything else purely out of curiosity at the same time? How far does this £10 admin fee stretch?
Furthermore as I'm disputing something which will be proven in the phone call that occurred that i'm requesting data from by what means will i receive this data? Will i get a digital copy or will it be a printed transcript?
Any specific help/details on this is greatly appreciated

Your £10 request covers ALL information regarding your account, not a 'single' piece of data. You have no right to recordings (if they exist) but it does;nt hurt to ask for them. If available, you will recieve a transcript, never a CD or tape/MP3. If you did not record the call yourself, you can have no guarantee the supplier will have kept and archived it, which is why callers need to make their own recordings.0

??? You DO have a right to a copy of the recordings - they comprise data held about you.0

Thanks, as I said, it's a specific call that is vital to the case so if they don't actually have it I'm guessing that works in my favour, if they do, well it's still in my favour, either way ive written it to specificalyl request the call in question as well as ANY other data held on myself. Thanks peeps.0
