Yes, it would seem that I assume the deferment threshold would only be meaner as the years pass, while my salary goes up a wee fraction.
The threshold for pre 1998 loans is always set at 85% of the average wage, so normally it will go up. I believe it fell in 2011 as average wages dropped, which was generally considered to be an aberration.0 -
I will spread the word among and students/graduates I know that they must check their SLC thresholds semi-regularly...even if they look at me with pity and tell me to "get a life!" :-)
You may well find that they already do this annually and only look at you with pity as you haven't been doing so!0
