SimplifyDigital O2 cashback offer

I'm with O2 broadband now - out of contract on their O2 Home Broadband Standard package.
If I apply through SimplifyDigital would I get the £50 cashback and £30 O2 cheque and 12 months half price, or don't I qualify as I am presently with O2?
Thanks,
John

Do you really need to ask?
Of course you can't sign up with O2 and get cashback when you're already with them. You might be able to blag something direct from them in return for signing up for another year though - call them and ask.0 -
I'm asking because the MSE Cheap Broadband guide, under the heading:
Special deals for existing customers
says:
If you sign up via Simplify Digital* before 8pm on Thursday 20 January, you'll also get £80 cashback - £50 paid by Simplify Digital and £30 paid by O2.
...hence my question. Is the article misleading?

you can get this deal anyway through quidcoDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

I don't know about the £50 cashback, but this O2 page http://www.o2.co.uk/broadband/12-months-half-price/ clearly states:
They say the offer is only available if you ring an 0800 number, so you wouldn't get the other £50 cashback, but still possibly worth it for the half price and £30.If you've had an O2 mobile for more than two years, we'll give you 12 months half price home broadband on our The All Rounder or The Works packages to say thanks. PLUS you won't have to pay our £25 connection fee – just sign up for a 12-month contract. On top of this we'll give you £30 to help you through the winter.
And if you've already got our home broadband, you can still get all these things. As long as you've had an O2 mobile for two years, and are eligible to re-sign your contract with us.
Oh, and the O2 page says the offer is open until 2nd February.
I'm certainly going to give it a shot!

PS Whilst they put me on hold for a long time (0800 number so no matter) it was successful.0 -
As previous post, just out of contract with O2, upgraded to the Allrounder, (to get around problems streaming to internet tv), gone from £8.50 mth to £6.25.
Also I've only had an O2 phone for 15 mths but was offered deal without me asking.
I forgot about asking for the £30 cashback, phoned back but they had closed, phoned first thing the next day and retentions guy said "no problem, you've phoned at the earliest opportunity, can't see a problem, have put it through, and you should get a cheque in around 3 weeks"
Move along, nothing to see.0 -
I just called about this offer and O2 told me as I was switching from sky, there was a £45 charge that sky charged to release me. When I argued back as I'm out of contract and there would be no charge it finally emerged that O2 are actually charging a £45 installation fee. They insist it is because Sky install equipment on the line and BT have to come out to take it off, but the only thing i have is a router and the little adaptor box thing which I can easily take off. I questioned them again and said are you really just charging an installaion fee but lying to me about it and astonishingly she said yes - sorry I am lying!!
Everyone should be careful about taking this offer I think!0
