have been on the same tarrif as you since may 2006, phoned O2 today, asked for a usage review and am now a £25 a month tarrif from next billing period...........word of warning , am loosing all my roll over minutes with tarrif change, but have over 2000 spare!!!

ask them.............they can only say no :rotfl:

    O2's downgrading policy changed 1 January 2007.

The minimum period for 12 and 18 month contracts is now 9 months and you may only move down one tariff per month to the next lower priced tariff.

Prior to this change you could downgrade to any tariff after 6 months.

It doesn't matter either way, this month it has been 9 months since you signed, so whether it's 6 months for you or 9 months you can do it.

It only takes effect from your next billing date, not the day you arrange it, so if you call them anytime now they should be able to downgrade your tarriff from your next billing date (which will be the 9th month one).

For £25 (the next tarrif down) you can have 200mins and 500 texts or 250 mins and 150 texts (Online 25 plan).

For £20 (the next tarrif after that) you can have 75 mins and 300 texts or 100 mins and 50 texts (Online 20 plan)
