Does anyone know whether the Quidco £165 SKY cashback is applicable for VM users ?

Hi all,

My family are currently with Virgnmedia for phone, bband and TV.

I am currently aware that Quidco are offering £165 cashback for new users moving their phone, bband and TV over to SKY.

Does anyone know whether this offer is applicable for VM users; especially as we don't have a BT phone line. If this offer is applicable, will we have to pay extra to get the phone line installed ?

My OH phoned Sky last night to ask but the agent just advised him to contact Quidco as he had no knowledge of the offer.

Can anyone please help and advise.

You will need to have a PSTN phoneline installed as you cannot get any broadband (Sky/02/BT ect) on a cable phoneline due to the way they work.

I have spoken to Sky again via a very helpful person who has confirmed :

    1. The offer is for VM customers.

    2. For £36-00 per month, you get unlimited bband, TV Entertainment package, phone line rental, a free Sky+ box, free bband/dish/Sky+ box installation and a free WIFI router.

    3. £10 installtion cost for a new PSTN phone line.

    4. Contract is for 12 months. After that the monthly cost inceases to £39-75.

    5. With the £165 Quidco cash back, this means that in effect the monthly cost will be £23-08 for the first 12 months.

I currently pay £33 per month to VM for TV M, B band L, Phone L, phone line rental and a V+box. I spoke to VM to see if they could beat this and the best offer was a free upgrade to TV M+ for the same cost.

So I will be off to Sky very soon. After 12 months, I will keep the dish and the Sky+ box for freevew.

You can't get Freeview via a Sky box. it is a terrestial service via an aerial. You can get Freesat from Sky-not the same thing.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
