Blackberry Pearl deals - recommends?

I have just come to the end of my contract handcuffs with Vodaphone. I wish to stay with them and keep the same phone number. But I want to upgrade my phone to a Blackberry Pearl.

Should I buy one from a retail outlet or do I get a better deal online?

Currently spend about £40 per month.
