Orange refuse upgrade to talk plan :(

Today i tried to follow the guidelines on this website for getting more minutes and texts per month for less money..........& Orange refused - I'm absolutely gutted. Thought they would like to keep my business after quite a few years with them?????

It’s all based on the figures these days, if your spend is above a certain amount there’s a sliding scale on what they’ll offer against what they get from you. If you drop below the magic figure they’ll just give you your pac code and say bye bye…

My husband has had incredible luck every year upgrading/changing tariffs with Orange, but perhaps it IS based on the numbers. Can you try again or do you feel that's a futile effort?

It’s a waste of time, the number won’t have changed and the op’s don’t have any autonomy (retentions have a very slightly different system but not by much) and with almost all calls being recorded and op’s being reprimanded for not following the ‘guide lines’ you won’t get anywhere…
