You'll be fine with the close age gap, I conceived my second when my eldest was 6 months old (had returned to work then, you only got 4 months off at the time) and then my third was conceived just aftre the seconds first birthday (I came of fhte pill 3 days before) - all were planned. It's worked out well having them close, it is tiring at times but they are interested in the same things, I'm not taking a 13 year old to a soft play area, they all like the same places.

again no advice work wise, I just wanted to send my congrat and a resurance that such a small gap is no big deal. By the time this baby arrives Your LO will be about the same age as my sister was when our other sister was born (just under 2 years old)

young children tend to accept things "as is" as long as you reassure them everything is ok and gently prepare them for change.

Don't worry about the gap.
I knew someone who had twins after fertility treatment. She was pregnant again before they were 3 months old! So she had three babies in under a year.

My two are 19 months apart and they are very close (ages 21 and almost 20 now) it's a challange at times but you will be fine, congratulations on the news and take care when you go back to work.

My friend has two girls 15 months apart. It was hard at first but as the youngest is nearly 1 now she is finding it a lot easier.
