Hello guys,
Wow - some great ebaying over the weekend by some of you...I was terrible and didn't do any
This morning I went to my lovely colleague's funeral, she was a wonderful woman, truly caring and positive and it was heartbreaking to see her family, her husband looked exhausted. It is also exactly 13 years ago today that it was my father's funeral so not a great morning.
I will be staying in today, feel fairly drained, so it will be NSD number 4 this month for me.
Will check online banking and that's about it.

Afternoon all. Big day for me today as I have posted my letter to work telling them I won't be returning to work there after my maternity leave finishes in March. Definite scary feeling - I will be unemployed for the first time since I started work at 16 (17 years ago BTW). My DH has said he will 'pay' me an allowance each month for my bills/shopping/expenses etc but strange to feel dependent on someone else for money. We have tried to work it out that I could return to work but it would mean that someone else would be raising my children and I would be paying all my salary to the nursery. Other than that I have/will:
checked my bank
- posted 5 ebay parcels (all second class) plus one to a lovely lady on here
- only bought a couple of bits while out shopping and didn't give in my daughter wanting another Mr Men book (took her to the library instead)
- tea from whats already in the house
- really try and go to bed earlier as I'm sure I'll be up in the night with one or other of my children
- try and make some time for some cross stitching
Sure theres more but too tired to think right now

Evening all
not a bad day for me, I have:
- had a NSD (so far)
- packed lunch for DS instead of school lunch
- free lunch at work for me - started doing a lunch duty once a week (I work in a school) so get free lunch every day :money:
- tea from stores
- checked ebay - listed 11 items last night and have watchers on five already, fingers crossed they turn into sales
- checked free postcode lottery
- checked online banks
still to do;
- check onepoll
- do swagbucks stuff
Have a good evening x

Today I have:
Worked 9 - 1 but actually didn't do a lot as we have had the builders in the building and the internet and phone was off.
Posted some ebay parcels of 7 pieces of clothing which I never wear anymore and sold for nearly £100. Goth clothing seems to be the thing to sell!
Bought a nice necklace to sell on my craft fair stall at the weekends.
Got a months worth of food shopping for £60 then used £15 voucher I got from surveys against it. So £60 shopping for £45 for 4 people :j
Did all the comps
Did all the surveys
2 more enquiries from people about staying in my caravan
Checked bank0 -
Today so far;

Pernicious - I've gone for a Galaxy S2. You're right about the iphone - think you're just paying for the brand.
My head really isn't in work today. Got so much going round and round and I'd rather be sorting out those things. Kinda feels like I'm wasting time being here, if that makes sense, because I know I could be putting my time and effort to better use elsewhere (ie at home sorting out my life!). I cannot wait until I'm a full time yoga teacher and working from home when I'm not teaching. I know the freedom to do that can only come from being debt free though so I best put that plan back into action. For the timebeing I need the security of a full-time salaried job. Just another five years to slog through, which I guess isn't long in the grand scheme of things.
Off to deposit cash in the bank, rather than leave it in my purse, and going to change my address with a few places. I will not spend money on my lunch break, I will not spend money on my lunch break…
Very good choice - a friend of mine has that & he loves it. It scared me how thin it was though! But I'm sure I'd get used to it if I had one. Yup, you're definitely paying for the brand when it comes to Apple...
I know what you mean about time being better spent elsewhere, if only we had three day weekends, I'd be much less stressed I think!Charityworker wrote: »Today I have:
