Well done for getting through your list!
Hmm, what did I do productive today?
1. Studied German for 1 hour
2. Made a highly elaborate "goals for the week" post-it board, as inspired by a post on Pinterest - not too sure how productive this was as opposed to procrastination, but it looks cute, and it was nice to do something a bit arty! Plus I post-it noted "Learn German" onto the board - and then I did haha! Job done
I have six goals of the week on it: apply for jobs (obv), learn German 1 hour a day, plan a get-together with friends for the next weekend, tie up all the loose ends at work (getting my reference, tax code sorted etc), booking my flight home on payday, and writing another blog post. Will keep you posted about how the week progresses!
3. Applied for two more UK jobs.
That's it! The rest of my day was spent relaxing; I stayed at a friend's last night, which was really nice. I actually felt a bit glum coming back to my flat today! I usually like living alone, but not so much the past few weeks. But I feel good that I spent this time alone getting a few bits and pieces done!
Happy rest of weekend everyone

Hi everyone! Hope everyone is ok.
I can't believe how time flies  its almost the end of another year.
I'm going to do some positive steps for next week starting from Monday 5th.
1. Finish wallpapering in the kids bedroom.
2. Sort out new bank account and online banking and transfer all direct debits and payments.
3. Declutter as much as possible.
4. Try to boost income as much as possible.
5. Sort out taking one of our armchairs to my aunties and change the living room around.
6. Do some revision.
7. Pay as many bills as possible.
8. Sign up for some freebies.
9. Try to stay frugal and healthy with food.
10. Try to get as much work done at work so I can free up time for bookkeeping (more experience will soon pay off!)
Haven't really got much to do as a bit short on cash these next few weeks until pay day. One of my biggest things to do though is to read up on things on here and maybe join a few threads to boost income, save money and become more savvy.:j Comping wins: Gig tickets, Lovemydog tag, Country Livings Christmas fair tickets
Freebies: Redken hair product, Cow teddy, Pebble grey illuminated compact mirror.0 -
Hello everybody
It's a while since I've been here but I've had a good weekend and got lots done. I've started writing a to do list in a little notebook and I've done 26 little things this weekend and have a couple more to do including having a bath and starting a jigsaw...first off I need to do an activity on my proofreading course...if I can concentrate on it over the fireworks.
