  • I had a wonderful time away thanks :D was just so good to be in a beautiful part of the country - am downloading some pics so will share a few once i get myself that organised :rotfl::rotfl:

I did hear about superpoints and unfortunately i was almost at cashing out £15 - if i had internet access while away i probably would have got it claimed! That was the first time i had allowed the points to build up as well  Who knows what will happen but tbh i got about £150 out of them so i'm not really that miffed. Its just one of those things! Was good while it lasted ;)

Good Luck with the CC hunt - did you put it somewhere safe??? :rotfl:

Ohhh darn it, never mind at least you made lots of money from them, and also its one less thing to do online which will give you some more free time like you wanted.
    Don't turn a slip up into a give up:D

Oh well done! What a positive day :D and brill news about the job :T:T

Do you actually need your CC for the balance transfer? usually you just need your account number which is on your statements or you could ring them for the details?? Also if you are moving balances around just be careful - that is how i got myself into a mess. I moved balances to 0% offers without realising it would affect my credit rating and also despite the good intentions i had to not use the empty cards i eventually did - my advice would be to contact your current provider saying you have the opportunity to do a balance transfer to a lower apr and ask if they can match it first. If not and you transfer then CLOSE the old card account ;)

Morning All :D hope you are all well??

I had a bit of a low day yesterday :( - combination of things going on and i just want them sorted - health, money, car and house so 4 biggies to be up in the air at the same time. I am trying to work on them but am a bit in limbo waiting for appointments, waiting to hear about dla review, haven't got the money re the car till i hear about dla review and been waiting to meet up with house owners - its all external control things which does affect my mood considerably :(

Anyway i have the meeting about the house today which i am anxious about even though i'm sure will be ok. I am also debating about trying to negotiate over the rent charge as i am in a good position for that and think i should try to knock a few £ off the monthly cost if i can BUT its hard for me to do that face to face :o
I might do the meeting then go back to negotiate later by phone :p :rotfl:

Right then todays list looks like this:

    arrange to collect caravan
add 10 items to ebay & fb - started *
    sort out washing
Sort out SORN for car and post * - sorted ready to post
see if Lisa still has packing boxes
catch up with fb messages* - all important ones done :)
send payment to unison * - need to check the amount and the address for this
sort out 1 box of guff LOL!
go to view a car - done :)
go to meeting with house owners * - done :) now waiting with baited breath LOL
sort some car boot stuff for tomorrow
    unpack from trip
parcel up and post ebay sales
    boost swaggers to 200+ - done :)

Mostly rollies i see :rotfl: am going to * the priority ones to start with cos i am finding it hard to know where to start again!

Awwwww thanks for looking out for me Fairyclicks, I'm not too worried about what my credit file looks like at the moment cuz it has been alot worse, I used to miss payments all over the place!
But yes this is fully what I intend to do, transfer and then close the account, I also want to try and pay it off before the interest free ends. I moved it off this card to another interest free offer and now I want to move it back, it was a planned move so I could shift the debt quicker which has worked :T and saved me lots of interest. I tried calling without the card and they said I needed it...so...:(
I put it in a safe place so I wouldn't use it, the others are cut up but I can't cut this one up yet :rotfl:I cut my cards up last year when I had my lightbulb moment :T But thanks for all your lovely advice, I didn't actually realise that balance transfers affected your credit file so it's good to know. :D

I am going to have a productive day today, only a few things from the main list left and things on the rolly list need doing still so I will post my new list in a seperate post

Feeling like i'm getting no-where fast atm :( but i do have bad cramps so any little steps are a big achievement :)

Today i'd be happy just to get my ebay parcels done and posted!

I did email the house agent at about 5am to negotiate over the rent costs - i am now scared to check for a response :o
