Hello, sorry for not posting for a while, i was lucky enough to have had a small holiday that I didn't have to pay for. Perks of the boyf being a shareholder in his family company that do rather well for themselves. I wss reading everyones posts through my email though. Always love to hear what everyone is up to.
Ooooooh how lovely to get a free breakhope you had a great time!
Fairyclicks you are making good progress with your list, I haven't called my mobile companies yet, have you? I'm really struggling with this one. Plus it gets worse the more I put it off, I don't even owe money or anything, I just don't like to be awkward and with vodafone raising their prices awkward is what I am going to have to be... sighhhhhhhh
I am going to tackle my clothes pile though too, just a few things away at a time like you do, its funny how tasks sometimes overwhelm us isn't it? I keep getting annoyed because they are so simple but I just get so bogged down doing them. It must be the way my mind works..
Yes i did sort my mobile contractand i got a fabby deal on it too - i checked the deals for the phone i wanted - phoned the one with the best deal then wouldn't let them put the order through, then phoned my own (orange) and told them the deal i was getting and negotiated an even better one :rotfl::rotfl:
Sounds like a good day Rachel, you got some good tasks done.
After my lovely holiday it was back to the real world and I have got a few bits done, so here they are:
Washed and dried sofa covers and put them back on sofa (so satisfying to have done this)
Picked up parcels from post office
Posted all the ebay items that ended on Sunday
Posted on this thread!! :-)
Things that I will do before bed:
email the gym about arranging a meeting (pay dispute, sad times)
wash up 10 items
put away 10 items from my clothes pile
post on the make £10 a day thread :-)
That is all. goodnight, see you soon
Well done for getting a list done and for working through it, I'm glad i'm not the only one finds it easier to do small bits of jobs at a time - i just would get nothing done if i tried to do it all at once but this way it gets done without all the overwhelming feelings and procrastination my mind dreams upDebt at Aug 2010 (LBM) £21,908.86, Debt Freeeeee Date 4th Nov 2013 :j:j:j Massive Thanks to the £10 per day thread :A Next goals:Savings £1203.16/£10,000******Mortgage to Zero: £52,579.46 to go

Right then, back from a few days away and head all over the place - i fell asleep yesterday without taking my medication which means i have swimming head syndrome today

My Rollie and new steps list now looks like this:

I'm having one of those days today where i just don't know where to start
motivation is low and generally feeling fed up and a bit overwhelmed.
To help me get started i am going to pick 1 thing off the list to do - if i get nothing else done but that one thing then thats ok cos otherwise i will just sit and stare at my list
Think i will do this one:
claim lost item from post office - complete the form now i have got it
As i'm struggling today i am breaking this down into smaller steps:
find the claim form - done
complete the form - done
take a copy of the form - done
find the proof of posting - done
copy the proof of posting - done
print off the listing from ebay - done
print off the emails saying not received - done
find an envelope - done
post form to claims department - ready to go tomorrow
Its easy enough to do (hopefully) and will give me some cash back when i get the claim completed with any luck!
Hurrrrrrrayyyyyyyyy I managed to get this done - only took me about 5 hrs but sure at least its something else to mark off the list now
Good Luck to anyone else trying to do some stepping today
Additional things done:
Superpoints - think its going to be next month before i can claim the $25 but i'm getting closer each day
swaggers - up to 525 - doneDebt at Aug 2010 (LBM) £21,908.86, Debt Freeeeee Date 4th Nov 2013 :j:j:j Massive Thanks to the £10 per day thread :A Next goals:Savings £1203.16/£10,000******Mortgage to Zero: £52,579.46 to go

Awww Fairyclicks, sorry you are feeling low today but well done on doing the form, they are a pain I have had to do one before. They paid me compensation in stamps which was OK I guess as I always need them. So that might be what you get too.
