Not my best day of flying so far - I did manage to get through the three levels - but mainly because i had cleaned the living room at the weekend, and my decluttering mainly involved moving the clutter to another room! So tomorrow's problem!
But my living room is tidy so glass if wine and new series of the good wife here I come!
Just looked at tomorrow - oh dear! I think I need to do a quick run around before bed! Can't see the floor in one room which could make vacuuming a problem0 -

Evening all
Starting to get very cold in the house now. DS3 in bed so all cosy. DS2 on the sofa with a wool blanket and a cat plus the log fire on.
Going to do the list for tomorrow and head up to bed with a hottie or two, my friend's kindle and watch newsnight. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

(((Hugs))) to everyone who is having a rough time. I'm getting very little done, both work and flying. No particular reason and I've got to shake this CBA mood off quickly now.
Going to update my list tomorrow - it's going to be a busy weekend.

Lamewolf I hope your shoulder improves enough for you get a good night's sleep.

Dustykitten wrote: »Have you got malt vinegar? Just pour enough in to cover the element, leave to stand and then give a good rinse out (you can pour the vinegar into a jar and use again for descaling something else). Boil and discard the first lot of water. Do not use pickling vinegar (say she from experience). My kettle doesn't have an element as it is a stove top one so a quick brush out with the washing up brush does it:p
Taps I spray on neat vinegar, leave then wipe off. If there is a lot of scale at the base I soak a small piece of kitchen roll in vinegar wrap it tightly around, leave for an hour and then brush with an old toothbrush.
To descale the bit where the water comes out. Soak some cotton wool in vinegar, place in a small plastic bag and place over the tap so that the cotton wool is sitting over the tap head. Hold in place with a rubber band, leave overnight and it should wipe off in the morning. Repeat if necessary.
Thanks Dusty Kitten, not been on for a day as things been manic with work but have planned 7 8am, 9am - 11am and any time i have free in the afternoon tomorrow to catch up on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Fly list and also to try your suggestions with malt vinegar as have a whole bottle of that. I keep laughing at myself at how excited I get when I get a new OS thing to try, thank you for all your suggestions so far, i must be saving hundreds with all the advice.APR NSD - 0/10

LW - STOP trying to do everything. You need to accept your limitations, and we know your house is clean because you do more each week than the rest of us, and do it consistently week in and week out. So give yourself a break, do what NEEDS doing, and make sure you prioritise the doing fun stuff.
I have been out, socialising. Haven't done that for ages... it was quite fun
Like Dusty, I'm planning on making hot water bottles and heading off to bed...0 -

Didn't feel very well Weds night - had a funny head and skyhigh temperature, so spent night in and out of sleep. Felt a bit better in the morning, until I went downstairs to find Minion had trashed the place again.
Had bass lesson, then came back and sat on own because she had a homework thing at her friends, but wasn't dropped back until 9pm and then proceeded to scatter more junk across the place.
So my plan is to spend my birthday mercilessly DESTROYING everything she owns that isn't exactly where it should be.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
