Trying to list something but it's driving me nuts!

Like many others making the most of the free listing weekend to list an unwanted gift on Ebay. It's a sealed mascara/eye shadow set.
Well it just won't let me list, I have tried everything including not posting abroad but I keep getting the same message. The annoying thing is other people have successfully listed identical items under 'health & beauty' - 'make up tools' - 'sets and kits'
This is the message I get - any ideas? I am not selling any of the banned makes...

That's so frustrating for you!

Ebay can't let you list items from those brands or they will be fined (or so I have pieced together, my brain hurts now!) probably due to fakes being sold/the brands being brought into disrepute? Not sure.

I don't think there is any way around it *legally* and ebay will just pull your auctions if you try to list them.

Yes I get the French - and I am not listing a banned item, it's body shop.
I also listed u.k. only but nothing is working!
how are other people listing the same item, that's what is bugging me!

Is there a 'completed' one that you could do a 'sell similar' on?

Yes, tried that too on an identical one! It just doesn't like me!

Oh! Am as baffled as you then. I often list Body Shop stuff with no issues.

Hope you get it resolved, I can understand how infuriated you must be.

I'm having problems with various listings this weekend.
The photo section isn't loading and the categories page keeps saying I haven't chosen my category when I have.
Maybe lots of people are using it??

I'm havin major problems uploading pictures. I've tried 2 pc's, differant browsers on each pc as well as all the usual re-setting options from my end but its taken me an hour to list 3 items :mad:

its seems to fail halfway through upload but the window closes as if its complete upload which it clearly hasnt.
I've about 20 more items to list but dont think I'll get them done in order to qualify for the free listing weekend

Perhaps you could list without photos and put 'photo to follow' in your description? I've done that today as i have run out of time and patience!
