My best friends parents have just returned from Uganda, completing the building of an orphanage so I sent them on their way with a lovely box of toys and games that I'd collected in the last few months. I absolutely love doing what I can to help those far less fortunate than us to the point where it's impossible to even imagine. A great cause, I hope the orphans she visits are all able to benefit from everyone's generosity :Axx
That's fantastic. I have been to kampala 4 times and it's heartbreaking to see the poverty even in the middle of the city.:Tgrocery challenge 9.86/600 -
Can you have a £40 shop that inc £25 clothes and get £10 off?
Morning all
Yes I've done this before
Best combination was when a couple of newspapers were doing conditional spend vouchers I 'used 4 vouchers in the same transaction
Be careful if you buy an item of clothing just to top up your shop to return later, mostly I've been fine but the odd savvy trout may realize and knock off £5 off the refund amountGRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED
Please press the thanks button when someone has helped!0 -

One tried that with me one time (dont do it very often), but I pointed out that the changing rooms were closed (it was a 9 pm shop, deliberately) and that it would affect my statutory rights to a refund on clothing (they have a 28 day policy) - she called a manager, told him the tale of no trying on facilities, and he said just give her the full refund! Might be worth a slighter later in the day shop, perhaps combined with whoopsies!0 -

Hi, If anyone in Glasgow is wanting to send stuff to blondynurse, I will be up in Glasgow a couple of times in Feb with work and would happily collect stuff to pass on to her to save postage, just drop me a pm if you are wanting the Georges_mummy courier service to pick up
also, if anyone is near the M74 anywhere between Glasgow and Moffat I can offer the same if that helps
Blondynurse - what age stuff are you needing - I've still got baby clothes if they are any good?0 -
