oops sorry:o I think I must have missed something along the way. I was just trying to give him a bit of a boost for his own reaction to the flack he got for his unitentional "faux pas". Did my post offend? Hope not. If it did sincere apologies::o

No hun, you haven't offended me at all :). I was just trying to get a bit of balance into the situation after people have been coming onto the forum this afternoon after the fact and maybe jumping to conclusions.

I agree with your subsequent comments and am sorry you've had some unfortunate experiences - it seems we all have something we have to live with. Unwitting comments can, without meaning to to, be hurtful or just strike a raw nerve, and I could understand that Kadison was reminded of unhappy memories of someone dear to her.

Fourp, we've all said something at some time or other that has struck the wrong note with somebody without meaning to at all. I once came back from Uni in the holidays and tried to book a driving lesson with my driving instructor, only to be told by his wife that he'd died three weeks previously. I was absolutely mortified, not least because she'd had to tell me. It's all part of the human condition, but as long as we all act in good faith and generally trust that the other person isn't out to cause trouble (unless there's good evidence to the contrary), we all muddle through together somehow. Do come back, and I'm sure kadison will join me in inviting you for a drink in Happy's bar later.

Edit - I see you're back - good! :j But your post made me hungry, must go and get some dinner! :)
    Hope is not a strategy.

Welcome back FourP, we've missed you and your fab looking dinners!!

I should have taken a pic of mine. I just had meatballs and pasta with a chilli tomato sauce and grated cheese on top. I currently possess a very happy belly :)

I don't like this new format!:( Is there anything that can be done to spread it across the page?

Question! Has any one bought the Ken Hom £5 meal deal and does it include the 18 piece selection pack?
I bought 4 items today including the selection pack but didn't get a reduction:mad: and only noticed when I got home, so may have to go back tomorrow for DTD if it should have been included.

Did get a small DTD on Pedigree tins of dog food.
    http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=250647218
These tins are on offer for £5.50 but there was a big display at the end of the aisle where someone was handing out leaflets for Tesco pet insurance and there was also a big sign for pet food for £5 including the Pedigree.
So a nice DTD of £4 as I had bought 4 packs.:)
