Artha, I've been keeping my counsel in the hope this was going to sort itself out, but it seems it isn't going to quickly, as others come onto the thread.

As far as I know, and I may be wrong, it was Kadison and myself who responded to what was probably a flippant, though possibly unfortunate, remark by fourp regarding the "poncey" name of Rupert.

Unless there's been more to this than meets the eye/ posts I haven't seen/ complaints behind the scenes etc, then I don't honestly think that anyone has been nasty or unpleasant or intended to be so to anyone else. I certainly haven't, and both kadison and I have immediately made it clear we want fourp to be on the thread. These things are a two way street you know . I repeat your last sentence and my earlier post - come back fourp, we're generally a friendly and harmless bunch!

The mature lady that served me scanned the meals and said 'i dont think you need those love'
