afternoon all
had a quick trip to tesco while they were sorting out all the shelves for the new offers. And I already have my eye on a few things:D I'm making it my aim to get free creme eggs this easter!
Creme eggs 6 Packs are changing from half price to 2 for £5 tomorrow so worth looking out for!as your store might have a stack of them still displaying half price somewhere dotted around.
plus if you're lucky enough to get DTD tomorrow on them ASDA have them for £2 eachgood luck.
EDIT: No guesses where I will be tomorrow morning:D0 -
Deal. I can also help by eating choc from any glitches, determined to get up to 8 stone :rotfl:
I used to be like that I was under 6 stone when I was in my early 20s only hit 8 stone around 40 and now I am 10 stone and not even 50. Just want to add I have a small bodyframe (hereditary) so don't want anyone to think I had any problems in my 20s at that weight, I was just Tiny.
Forgot to ask earlier were there any 1p things left? TIA0 -

The only thing I can advise you is, if and when you get a few lump sum's of money pay it in against the mortgage to bring the amount you owe down...
This type of mortgage is like renting your own property from the bank...:(:(:(:(:(
I feel quite sick for you..
thanks West is best.....only problem with that is that its only the remortgage which is interest only (the actual mortgage is repayment)...so its an additional £20k borrowing on the mortgage...if we overpaid, the overpayments would go straight to the actual original mortgage (which is still good), and wouldnt hit the 'second' mortgage...and they both finish at the same time so need to have a rethink!! Changing it isnt an option for a long time, and to be fair we do have many years before it needs to be paid....it just really alarmed me when i opened the statement!!
Think I'll have to start to browse the whole of MSE not just the grabbit section in order to save £20k !!!hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -
Forgot to say I spotted a big xmas cracker in the toy section RTC £2.50 from £10. It had mini versions of Guess Who, Pictureka and 2 more games. Might be one to watch or a good price for some anyway.0

To all you folks who use slow cookers..........
How do you reheat what's left?
After reading all the posts about delicious meals made in slow cookers, I dug mine out from the back of a cupboardyesterday. I cooked some pork steaks (whoopsied on Christmas Eve and frozen) with some veg and chopped tomatoes. My OH and I had half of it last night, and will have the rest tonight. Do you just bung it in a saucepan to reheat, or would you turn on the SC again. I would think that's a bit dodgy!
Thanks!:)0 -
Thanks everyone for your good wishes....well its official, cheques posted and phone calls all made, Im officially debt free:T. It felt soooo good to phone my credit card and say "I'd like to clear my balance and close my account please" NEVER thought that was going to happen!! I've set a little aside to spend on myself (no idea what Im gonna do with it as I never buy myself anything) so checking out the sales this weekend seems in order:D. DH still has a few bills to pay but we've figured out we should be completely debt free in 9 months. Still shocked and stunned, but with a stupid big grin on my face:D
Sending good luck out there to everyone, a massive group hug to you all
Great news Sharon well done! on my way down the motorway for a drink lolOn the countdown mortgage will be paid off this year if I keep paying bit extra fingers crossed fully paid out by July :j0 -

I wear a robe on top of my clothes when I'm in the house to keep warm.
I wear a onesie in bed and I'm still needing a hot water bottle!!!
I am the most nesh person I know.
I keep blankets in the lounge to snuggle up in whilst, well, ahem, lounging.
I LOVE summer though. It's so nice to wear shorts all day and walk around barefoot. I guess it will soon be upon us. The calendar for this year is chock full of events n projects so it will soon whizz by.
Isn't it MMW signature about the life is like a loo roll? So very very true. I must be knocking up the miles.
Well, gonna finish my shopping list. I am REALLY ORGANISING my list tonight for maximum savings. Can't wait!!!
What does nesh mean? Cold?
