smart1e any chance of a pic of the Easter treat bags? :)

Nikki, there are some of the blue shopping bags in BB if you forgot? ;)

And I'm exactly the same with the bargains, once I put them away I forget I have them... then when I see them mentioned somewhere I'm like 'oh yes, I've got some of those!' LOL

I didn't buy them sorry just noted the details down to share on here lol but they are like a flat yellow cardboard rabbit about 6 inches high with 4 in the pack. They were in a separate random clearance section next to a pile of camping stuff of all things...lol!

  • Send it to me. I got in very late on the whole thing. My DS2 LOVES pankakes and we have nearly run out of the mix we brought back from Canada

Could I combine DTD reminiscing and baking tips please? Have a fair few (!) bottles of BC pancake mix left and would love ideas of what to do with it. Have been adding in an egg and making yorkshires - not perfect as a bit sweet, but OK-ish. Even the kids have lost interest in making pancakes - in the early days it kept them quiet every Sunday morning! Any suggestions? Thanks
I say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j

Spicy Peanuts, Harry Hill cashews, Beef Nuggets, Veg crisps all still a penny last night.

The nuts were out of date but like that's gonna stop me :D

A couple of empty clipstrips of unknown Disney items marked as 6p, don't know whether they've been mentioned on here, I haven't been paying attention to the toys. Got a photo of the SEL on my phone, hang on...

just had a little hacking session :o
tried to practise opening my old bit more rubbish bike lock but with similar key :rotfl:
tried with the paper clip, hair clip, pen... :o got more and more fed up... nothing worked... then cut off a bit of a plastic card but too soft... so tried my beloved scissors that I use to cut out vouchers :rotfl: and IT WORKED! :j:j:j 3 times!!! :D
I'm taking my new 'key' to work with me tomorrow and keep everything crossed it will work too :o

or maybe I should look around for a new bike...? since I have a very good 'key' :rotfl:btw the scissors are kids ones and from Mr M and cost 2 quid if anyone needs some 'keys' :p

    you have hidden talents !!!:T:T:T

Good luck with that, hope it works - imagine the pride in saying you picked a lock!:rotfl::rotfl:although probably not something you would want broadcasting where you work!

Don't forget if you print the coupon for 50p off Aunt Bessie on Facebook (link on coupons thread), you can buy the packet of custard which is currently 40p at Asda. So free custard and 10p off your shopping. It lets you print two coupons. I used one of the packets yesterday and it tastes nice.
