Hey 3dogs, how you neighbour with the bad leg?

She is in agony, I had to pick up a new prescription for morph tablets the other day, but has appointment through for 23rd February to see the new specialist and find out if they can do anything for her. I will take her down there, Cambridge, in her car and go in with her, as she asked, as I might ask different questions or remember things she forgets. Thanks for asking hun :D

No luck on the insurance i'm afraid. losses abroad are not covered on the policy, and they had £400 (combination of euros and pounds) in the room as well as the jewellery. The travel insurance only covers money stolen from your person, not a hotel room.

How was the Chinese, enough to go around? :)

That's not good news. :( I have some bits that you might like to ebay. I don't do ebay as can't be bothered, my time keeping is so shot I would forget to send things off and get a bad rating. :rotfl:

I did post earlier but you must have missed it, I cooked one of the starters and 4 mains some rice and there is none left. :o

and the great thing is you can use them in Waitrose if you don't need/want any of the overpriced JL items :p Great for me as I have 2-3 Waitrose stores very close to my work :j

John Lewis aren't overpriced for everything, but probably more on little things. They price match on all their appliances, electricals and stuff like that. I ordered a Bosch oven from them recently, and I couldn't get anywhere near the price elsewhere. :)

I'm off to bed, night all.
I spent a very exciting Saturday night arranging car insurance...what an exciting life I lead!! :D

I never go on a Saturday for some reason, maybe it's worth a shot next week.
Do you go a bit earlier than normal?

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction of a couple of things scanning cheap.

Is it most of the me to you stuff reduced or just the odd bit?
I'm going to have to go back and see if there's any barcodes unless anyone has them to hand !!

I did miss that, I thought I had caught up, but I must have missed a bit.

Thanks for such a kind & lovely offer, and I really really appreciate it, but don't worry they will be OK. I think they are just blaming themselves a lot for not paying to use the safe, and not being aware of the loop holes in the insurance. I have so many wardrobes of clothes I don't wear I sorted some new things out to sell ages ago, and I hadn't got around to it, but I will now :)

cripes! i remember drinking 5 cans of red bull once...really would not recommend that

you should try the 1ltr bottles of Mr T's Kick energy drink, think it's now called kk something or other. Both myself and DH used to take some, I took a bottle and he would take a tin, when doing a night shift, especially at the weekend, but after a third of the bottle it would make me feel very sick, restless and jumpy. It didn't affect DH much but had to stop using it due to meds he was taking
The most memorable night was coming back from Lisburn along the motorway and thinking I saw a girl walking along the hard shoulder wearing nineteenth century clothing  Needless to say I stoped drinking it soon after and haven't touched it since :rotfl:

It was ariel liquitabs that were £2.49 for one person I think scanned £9.69 for everyone else. Think have the prices about right.

As for me to you, I got some necklaces with for 24p but everything else I have tried scans full price. HTHs
