Caved in and went to T's today...the Christmas reductions weren't jaw-dropping, but got some craft items and a few decorations. The Me to You stuff had yellow SELs out for the reduced prices, so naturally the there were big gaps on the shelf
. No telescopes to be seen. Got the last two Crayola Twistable and Felt tip sets at £1.75, a quick look upstairs seemed unfruitful until I spotted a guitar.... and it scanned at...£1!!
IBurswood 36'' Acoustic Guitar
Took the last one, this was St R*ll*x. Btw, most familiar clipstrips seem to have been cleared/removed here, but I did find an Oust iron cleaner packet and it still scanned at 1p.

Firstly can I say Four P is my OH
He is very useful & well trained & would like to post on here but as I'm logged in all the time & am constantly relaying everything to him - he rarely gets a chance
He called himself 4p after modelling for the 11+ Calendar in his 4p Playboy boxers & jeansAlso he has been playing Funtrivia himself for 6 years odd so is very competitive & throughly enjoys playing against so many players.
At the moment we have a player called Percy on the Quiz - who hasn't come on here & said Hello so we have no idea who he/she is. Unfortunately for us MSErs, Percy seems to be winning every day almost, with record times.
As the Quiz is a public Quiz, it is open to anyone & Percy
So we can either try & beat Percy? :T or ignore Percy & I'll quote the second place person as the daily winner?
Or I can start a new quiz but with a private setting so everyone who wants to play will have to ask to join & use your MSE ID? and it will be exactly the same as before
Opinions or suggestions please
Welcome Mr FOUR P!
Leave the quiz as it is, the challenge is for the might of 11 plus to beat percy!!
One would imagine there are a few percy beaters on here already!!:rotfl::rotfl:"He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

Good evening and good night to everyone. It was my first day back at work today after what seems like an eternity off.
Thanks to the op regarding the Sainsbobs reductions today. I popped in first thing this morning on my way to work and picked up a few selection boxes - 10p
4 mugs - how to make tea/coffee - 35p
2 robot keyrings - should have been 50p but didn't notice till i got home tonight that they actually scanned at £1.
Still a great wee bargain:)0 -

Evening all!
Lost 1lb at SW class, surprised since I've been eating junk but hey-ho! Lot of new starters and I was asked to do the weighing-in, I LOVED it! It was fantastic being taught to do something new, this is when I really miss having a job, feeling of real use is fab!
After group all the newbies start weighing in but my consultant said to go and help Jackie who takes the money, so I'm sat there writing stuff in people's books and trying to learn the laptop stuff, I hope she doesn't think I've learnt that now, I've NO idea what she was up to, I was just copying stuff from the screen onto paper lol! Very happy to do the weighing in again though, loved that!
Went to sainsbobs as well on way home, while chatting to a friend of mine who works there, someone came up and asked if either of us knew any little girls whose bdays were coming up because these miaowing dog/cat toys were only 65p and they're normally £8.99!!
So my friend grabbed two dalmations and I got a dalmation and a kitten! Will post pics and BCs later, this was at G/bridge for Sw1ndonites but there were only those four there, no idea if more will appear.goldilocks1704 wrote: »You shouldn't add boiling water to coffee as it actually burns the coffee you should either switch the kettle off before boiling or wait for kettle to cool a little first. Coffee definitely tastes better that way
The cleaner we had when I was a child (not just to clear up after me btw!) always told me I made the best coffee, I always took great care to mix the milk and the coffee together first then add the water, maybe that was why? Of course I knew nothing about burning coffee, I just liked the way it looked lol!No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

Not been anywhere near Mr T's since before Xmas so nothing to report, sorry.:o
As for the quiz; I'm with locarr on this one. Leave it as it is. It's a public quiz and it is supposed to be just a bit of fun. :j
Off to catch up a bit (and read up some cricket knowledge for the quiz).
