Ah no worries went to try anyway :)

Lindor didnt work in my extra nothing covering BC.
No clip strip mini eggs at all :(
Found some nice simpson cufflinks number 1 dad, £10 reduced to £3 didnt get them as no need.
    Nothing else to be found.

In my local they had box sets with a bottle of Guinness and a pair of cuff links with them in pint glasses or a pair of toucans? They looked really nice. Worth the £3 for just the cuff links!! May come down further but a bargain at £3 anyway.

    Evening all

Not long back from T's. Not much to report, although there was a bit more selection this evening of the "How cool is this" stuff than there was a couple of days ago. Tonight I picked up:

    Glitter Lamp - £1.00
    4 port USB Hub - £1.00
    Mood Ball - £1.00
(The above are all things which light up/change colours, perfect for DD2)

I found 1 lonely packet of Thorntons deliciously chewy toffi-chocs (orange bag, 165g, b/c ends 2569) for 38p

And........ wait for it ........ I FINALLY found some Oust Iron Cleaning Pads @ 1p, first time I have seen these in any of the stores I go to.

I have to hand it to you guys though, you are fantastic at finding these "bargains"....... I scanned what felt like half the store tonight and found a bag of Thorntons! :rotfl::rotfl:

Incidentally, I scanned loads of the Me to You/Cuddle Me/Little Roo/Wedding globes/gift type things and noticed that most of them had a small sticker on the back of the product with an RRP (mostly £5.99/£6.99 etc) but noticed that everything I scanned was priced HIGHER than the RRP sticker on the back? Are these stickers not supposed to be removed before displaying them at a higher price? Ignore me if I'm wrong, I just wondered :o

Firstly can I say Four P is my OH :o He is very useful & well trained & would like to post on here but as I'm logged in all the time & am constantly relaying everything to him - he rarely gets a chance :o
He called himself 4p after modelling for the 11+ Calendar in his 4p Playboy boxers & jeans :) Also he has been playing Funtrivia himself for 6 years odd so is very competitive & throughly enjoys playing against so many players.
At the moment we have a player called Percy on the Quiz - who hasn't come on here & said Hello so we have no idea who he/she is. Unfortunately for us MSErs, Percy seems to be winning every day almost, with record times.
As the Quiz is a public Quiz, it is open to anyone & Percy :o

So we can either try & beat Percy? :T or ignore Percy & I'll quote the second place person as the daily winner?

Or I can start a new quiz but with a private setting so everyone who wants to play will have to ask to join & use your MSE ID? and it will be exactly the same as before

    Opinions or suggestions please :)

  • I forgot to say, when i was in the 1st T Express (which didn't have a SS til) i went to pay for my milk and 2 bags of Lindt as i couldn't find the mini eggs.

The bloke scanned them and then did a double take. I knew he had spotted the price. I quickly paid. He asked if i wanted the receipt. By this point i was all flustered and said no. He then replied " go on, take it, then you can have a giggle outside" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
