As they were only 1p i'd open a pack and taste a nut. Only a few out and only a recommendation of quality. Not the same as use by. Am 100% that they are good, 10 years in food hygiene, level 4 food hygiene and level 3 HACCP says i might know my stuff:rotfl:

if it was mouldy etc you would know when opening.
Thanks for that and yes, the quality of the nuts is fine. Does anyone think I should I fire off an email to head office to see what reaction I get or should I just enjoy cheap nuts and forget about the fact that I was sold 70 packs of a product that is 5 weeks past its use by date?

just been catching up on posts from yesterday.

Went out early to save fuel and avoid traffic, checked out a far a way tesco with scanner but only found splenda. Went on to Enf8888 Morries found som value clearance stuff, 15p beans, 13p teabags, 17p crisps, 20p pasta and 18p fruit and nut chocolate. Sadly no rice:mad: Also have 23p packs of orange juice.

Also noticed some beans were bent tins so asked SA if could have 9p. Actually said yes:D

Checked out two other morries, Woo8 Gr888 and Stam8888 H888. Not anything to report:mad:

Did notice not all product changed over yet so may be more this week. Also notice new savers range seem more expensive:eek:

Finally would like to ask the mods if we can make sausages a swear word:rotfl: I've been making them all week and the last thing i want to hear on my days off is sausages.:T

And Nikkala well done on the progress made negotiating HC case, always loved his piccies and never found him a offensive. Miss his insights.

cant remember who asked about them but morrys have little silicone teddy shaped moulds for £2 each and icecube ones were £2 each as well

Thanks I have a £5 off £40 spend for Morrisons (newspaper voucher) so I'll have a few of these. Is there anything else I should look out for?
