locarrs issue list is growing rapidly karlie ha ha ha :j

I'd say most of mse 11+ers are aware of your pic posting timeliness and are grateful for it. Like I said before, it wasn't you that posted the flashing image, which has been dealt with now anyway!

please dont lurk on here and then only come forward to post when theres a debate going on purely to have a dig at someone.

this is a nice thread, with nice posters....with the exception of a couple....either join the 'nice' majority or keep the comments over on FB :)
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

actually, you might be better aiming this at the person that deliberately posted a flashing image so as to get the attention of a mod.

Hands up to that one, it was me

However what I posted were smilies and I did not think they were flashing, its the moving bit that gets the mods interest and the fact that they are slightly larger than the standard size.

Sorry if I have caused any upset to anyone and I shall remove the offending post if you want me to. :o They were afterall 3 smilie faces and I can see how that would upset :A
Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can :(

Completely OT but I did something really stupid yesterday.
I wasn't feeling great so decided to have a long soak in the bath and instead of taking a book I took my laptop and watched the new Midwife programme that started on Sunday.
No problem there I hear you all say....but I'd taken an exension lead and plugged my lappie into it before balancing it on the taps :eek:

Didn't even cross my mind how dangerous this was until my OH asked me why the extension lead was on the landing.
He couldn't believe I didn't realise I would have been electrocuted if it had fallen in!
Won't be doing that again in a hurry......I'll stand it on the loo seat from now on :rotfl:
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
  • MW sent me to a website that hire them...£90 to hire do may as well buy & resell on eBay myself. Tens I'm hiring though...
No midwife ed unit here...there ay be one in S!!!!horpe but due to our rural location I am linked with Lincoln general...30 miles away so I'm jealous of you mlu :(

The MLU was fantastic. It was like going private, had my own room etc. There was a mood room I could have used but I did not have time as I had quick deliveries both times (27 minutes from arrival the second time and that was only because I refused to push until I was in the birthing pool and they had to fill it first).

I bought the tens machine from a company that was updating their stock (a new model had just been released). It cost £27 with 6 sets of pad. I used it twice and 3 of my friends have used it so it has been good value for money.

Could be worth posting on netmums to see if anyone has one they want to off load.

I have defended you in the past....Lord know why now...

You only seem to appear when contentious issues are being discussed, is it quiet over on the dark side ....no new pics/barcodes to copy and paste!!!:rotfl::rotfl:

And the claws are out again nite all
  • Someone ^^^^^ mentioned names...I'm still in debate with mr meerkat regarding a suitable name for baby meerkat...what would all you kind money-savvy people suggest?

Traditional/classical/suitably old-fashioned/Irish....mr meerkat is very very fussy :(

OH and I spent many an evening going through the name books! Poor DD didn't have a name for 2 days! We made up for it by giving her 4! Her first name is an Irish name, it is spelt slightly strange, but it's a lovely name. just hope it doesn't cause her probs when she's older with people not sure how to pronounce it :o

Wow you have actually just confirmed what a rather nasty person you are, and as such you are now being placed on my ignore list. Ugh! nasty person.

can i just say....yes i dont contribute much to this thread.....but i do follow for all the hints....tips.....cookery etc.....but i do follow all the posts......and yes i am sorry hc is gone.....because his posts were witty....helpfull....and one of a person who looks after people.....(when his friend was who works for tesco....had a few problems and he had a few quiet words over the freezer to the person invovled..)......but all the posts (i know you mean well) might not be doing him any favours and i do agree with other posters who say let nikkalia deal with it.....now the point of my post i would rather have HC comments than comments like from the poster above which i find more offenisive.....so any mods reading this.....i dont think swearing and bad jokes are any worse than the comments above.......and as some one else says if you dont like the posts dont comment......wise words .....one that we ALL should folllow.....xx

I let my OH pick DD's name, didn't find out till a few weeks before she was due, her name is Hannah but I struggle with the "H" because of my accent :o:o How bad is that!

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)
