It's so good to see the camaradie on this thread goes from strength to strength.

I used to post on here under a different name and enjoyed HC's banter so much. But I lost both my Parents within months of each other last year, and I visited a very dark place.

There is no doubt that the friendship and empathy on here (albeit in a cyber way) has helped me through my darkest days - even though I've been a lurker rather than a part of the family for the past several months.

I love the new photos of the yummy cakes and biscuits...nom nom!!

Sorry about your parents. Hope you are feeling better now and welcome back to the thread

Karlie88 how did the exams go? Been missing your funny pictures. I especially like the cat ones. Have a soft spot for cats and they do the most funny things at times. Mine used to play snooker on the tv with it's paws and run to the back of the tv to find the balls. :D

Right I'm off to mums again to sort her tablets. You should see the carrier bag full I need to sort.

And mines a chardonnay please if the bars open. Keep it chilled for me until I get back. ;)

Hi all, thanks for the support last night.

    HC, pint ?

Karlie, you think that is funny ?

The flashing images you post, legit or not could set off a fit.

    Not so funny now.

    Nothing personal.
They're not the flash images that could set off a fit frequent

  • Dear tesco, I need a glitch...a proper grabbit of OEP proportions....please :)

I've been skim reading some pages & missing others to check for glitches but meerkat manor is a little topsy turvy at present

(((((((())))))))) here's some meerkat hugs for those who need them xx

3 wks til due date, feet like 'baps' and only just been given approval for a home birth so now stressing trying to organise all the bits I need at such short notice...think the community MW team need to rethink their planning strategy.

I'm also sad about the events at the neonatal unit in Belfast...I was toying with the notion last night of travelling back to Belfast to have the baby, just so both my children would be born in NI but I couldn't even contemplate it now. They are sending ladies to Dublin to have babies...it's shocking tbh. I have 2 relatives who work/worked in the unit and would not have expected such tragedy to occur in what is the best hospital and special baby care unit in NI

Mr meerkat finally getting somewhere with the constant pains in his legs etc...it appears he has deteriorated cartilage in his knees and he is now awaiting an appointment for an MRI....he's in constant pain from his hips to his toes so this is a step forward after 18months of going to GP :T:T
    Baby meerkat...born 9.10am 31/1/12 - now a fully fledged monster meerkat.
New Baby meerkat due 09/09/2013 :)
  • Ah, my Thanks button keeps disapearing on me. I have refreshed a few times but it is not making any difference. In light of this all thanks will be issued at a later date (or later tonight if the button comes back).
