Part of an email i received from head office in reply to my email.

I was sorry to learn that the Time Banded Coupons you received at the checkout were of no use to you because of the short use by date. I can appreciate how disappointing this must be.

I have therefore contacted the Clubcard Business Support Team who have advised that these coupons are completely random and are only for a short period of time. The amounts are dependant on the amount you spend and are completely random with regards to the amounts they are for and who receives them. I have however, advised Clubcard Marketing of your concerns over the length of time customers have to use the vouchers

Whilst I can appreciate this does not alleviate the disappointment for not being able to use the coupons yourself however, on this occasion I have arranged for a £5 Tesco Moneycard to be sent to you with my compliments and best wishes.

Many thanks for bringing this to the attention of the chief Executives Office.

I went in Tesco and spent around £60 on 13th january came thru manned till and i get a £7 off £50 spend got to be used for 22nd january. I can only afford to do one big shop a month and call in now and again for odd items. So sent an email suggestioning these till throw outs have a longer use by day on them.
