Have you had a consultation with the vet and does the vet think she needs to be put to sleep? Is it possible there may be a medical reason for her behaviour? 13 years is quite a good age, but if it was me I would want to know that I had explored every avenue and given her every chance.
I'd agree with this. My guess however is that given the insuarance has gone up so much that such explorations have already taken place?
Terrible decision to have to make and losing a companion of 13 years willl be hard.0 -

I type for around 12 hrs a day most days, I'm pretty fast typist my nails dont tend to get in the way, but they are natural when I once (never again) had those horrid false nails I was all over the place typing
Don't like the falsies either just glad mine are real, last time I tried falsies I nearly pulled a nail off when trying to take them off.
Just trying to decide if it's worth the hastle to keep them long. They're strong but I just keep hitting them off thingsSPC #329 £471/£500 banked

read my last post hun we have certainly exausted the medical situation, for king charles cavaliers who have problems which are characteristim to Tammy 13 years is well above the average life span. our vet has advised us on many many occasions it might be the kindest thing but we have always kept plodding on and treating her. thanks for your concern xxxxlost 9 stone since Feb 2011
