I need to look for a good deal for travel insurance for me and DH. We're off to Isle of Wight next Friday for 5 days then Spain for 9 days on February 18th. Trouble is with him being diabetic insurance seems to cost more. He's paying so that's good lol

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Right, time I was off. It's my son's parents evening so a quick shower and change before I go.
I could say I will be doing a Lady Leenie and getting Per Una'd but until I lose weight it is wasted on me...so I'm going to get Per Usual on instead :D

Mr 3Dogs went for his first physio session today for his sciatica and the physiotherapist was amazed that, despite having back problems since the age of 18 when he fell off a ladder, he has never had an x-ray of his back  She was also puzzled as the pain is on extension rather than the normal compression. He has some gentle exercises to do and has another appointment for next Wednesday

The vet rang with the results of our eldest Bonnie's blood tests from last week ............ and it is not looking very good, with kidney count high, liver count fairly high, and cholestrol a little high, which points to renal/kidney disease or adrenal disease/cushing disease - I have made an appointment to see the same vet for 5pm tomorrow to discuss these results, but we have talked about it and really don't want to put Bonnie through any more, so will be going knowing that I will probably not be bringing her home :(:(:( It's all about her quality of life, not keeping her alive to be with us :(:( she's 16 years old, showing it, but has had a good life :)

I hope the exercises help Mr 3dogs x

As for little Bonnie, there is only so much you can do, I know myself from nursing a cat with renal failure for 3 months that it comes to a point where you have to say enough is enough. My little Lady had a brilliant life with me and was a very happy cat with a great quality of life for those three months of treatment but one day I just knew the time was right and off my little baby went to Kitty heaven.

It's the most difficult thing in the world in regards to pets but you must always trust your instinct, you know your dog better than anyone. (((hugs))) honey, I know how upset you must be about it all xxx

It sounds fab, My cousin got married last year and had a real shabby chic, Cath kidston style wedding. She had a table filled with sweetie jars:T For name places she had bright green apples with spikes and name tags stuck into them. The names of the tables where all written on driftwood that she and her OH had collected from the beach and she didnt have a wedding cake. What she did was everyone that was close made huge old fashioned cakes on china cakestands and she had a table full of them. Then she had a huge cream washed shabby chic looking picture frame on an easel and everyone stood behind it with their heads poking through for piccies. I love shabby chic at the moment;) Tonis wedding sounds like it's going to be lovely:)

Toni's wedding does sound lovely, and so does your cousin's!

No glitch on creme eggs :( shelf said 2 for £10! Yet scanned at £2.75 each with no other discount.
Thought I had found a glitch!! Oh well. Worth keeping an eye on tesco.com as I could change to 2 for £10 again and the "better than half price" is continuing till 31/01/12

    :)

For my niece's wedding last year she wanted the napkins to be a larger than normal size & in fabric.
I offered to make them, all 250 of them.
So fabric arrives - posh expensive woven checks & woven stripes fabric.
I cut them all & sewn them all & then washed them all - you know what I'm going to say next..........:o

Looking at the price of the slate hearts I would be inclined to look at making clay ones ESP as you need 70 pf them
If they are going to be name ones you can paint or stamp the names on and it's a lovely keep sake afterward
