  • Ooooh exciting! Just received my Pantenne trial bottles from Tesco's home panels, 12 days of free hair wash for me!:)

Oh & if anyone is going near Next I was given a card by an SA in there the other day that gave you £10 off a £15 spend if you order for the 1st time on line ;) Each card has its own specific number on, might be worth asking at the tills if they have any, quite a good discount.
  • Guys do I click no thanks to the naked wines offer of £30 back for emailing me for feedback - i already said no to the angels?

My dad used to refer to a calculator as a 'ready reckoner' lol!

Is/ was your dad a gambler?
As in all bookmaker diaries there are ready reckoners? A way of working outnyour returns on any bet as the odds are still fractions.
    Thanks
Ps I'm a 3 rd generation bookie lol

    Horrible cold morning here :(

Hoping everyone is in good form & spirits & Happy ♥

:) Our TV remote is called 'the buttons' :o

Loving the pegging out of washing secrets ;) I just have wooden pegs that have to be taken off line & put in peg bag - no order just put on the line 'firmly'. My bug bear is finding out after a wash that 'someone' left a tissue in a pocket  & we have the snowed on look :o Also if something is inside out it will remain inside out - washed & ironed :D

Last day of work till next monday :T

Rang Drs yesterday for blood test results & it's NOT gout  Dr wants to speak to me today - so I'm a trifle knotted up at the moment regarding the results

Will be thinking of you Snap-ant, hope you get on ok. :)

Wooden pegs are definitely the answer to anyone with OCD. :o I wash and iron most clothes inside out and then have to turn them right way and hang them on right hanger. Don't get me started on that one, all of my family think it's hilarious how I regiment my hangers. It seriously is a big problem for me, I can spend ages looking for the right one if someone has left it lying around, I just can't stop myself. :o:o

I got 2 pairs as well. The sel on the clipstrip said '£7.97 reduced to £4.97, expires 24 December' but they scanned at £9.97.

I bought some a couple of weeks ago (£1.97 after dtd) and have been looking for them since to buy more but they haven't had any.

Presumably someone has recently hung up new stock with the out of date label already attached.

It's one thing to forget to remove an ood label but to hang up new stock with a price which is already ood...?

Anyway, thanks for mentioning them Decay - I probably wouldn't have bothered to look again had you not mentioned them.

I bought 2 pairs too for £1.97 after dtd :)
Couldn't resist yesterday when I saw the price had gone up and there was a clipstrip with £4.97 on :D
    :(

A request for that HO email please!

about a million pages and two threads ago I posted about the eReader I got for £17 for DD... saved it for Christmas and it didn't work...

Went to Tesco, they sent me to Sony, ...sent it back for repairs under warranty and...

Sony won't accept the receipt!:mad::mad:

When I bought it, the SA at T, put it through by hand and it only appeared as 'home and wares' because it had no bar code- so it isn't specifically identifiable on the receipt.:mad::mad::eek:

Sony said talk to T and get a real receipt. :(

DH, who is quite up on legal stuff, said I need to complain to T, because the contract of sale is with them, not Sony.

...so 11+, can anyone please point me in the direction of the HO email?:A

I am off to walk around the sports field at the park to compose an email in my head so I get it right!:o

Ordered some ink for my HP 3050A printer the other day for £10 after seeing a post on HUKD ( Thanks to mikefellows OP), just got confirmation of shipping. It was meant to be employees only but they seem to be posting out to anyone. :)

    £26 in Mr T's
£20 direct from HP ( general public)
    :(
  • Regarding the guess the hamper cost sweep
When do we find out the correct total?! Or did I miss it? & we haven't got a guess from HC on there can you tell us his guess Westvleteren?

Bumping my own post because nobody answered me!:(
