Have to agree with the above but I'm sure the hospital will do all the necessary tests0 -

Thats the slowcooker I have
. It took me a while to get into it but the first couple of times I did tomato based sauces, I found them going a bit sticky round the edges (never got to the burnt point as Im home all day) Now I stick a bit of extra stock/water in, doesnt take much. It may be something to do with the natural sugars caramelising.Just had chicken thigh fillets with carrots, leek, onion, peppers cooked in chicken stock with some herbs and spices out of mine. Oh and I find the lid on mine will rattle if I take it off before its finished cooking, so I tend to just switch it on and leave it.
Brilliant, thanks very much SharonWill try adding some water or stock next time I do something tomato based. Think I'll stop interfering with it as well when it's on, just looked in the instruction book and it says not to take the lid off while cooking, oops
Ah onwards and upwards, I won't let this put me off, even if I was in a bit of a huff earlier :rotfl:...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Well, no shots in sight at Boots, and couldnt see any boots vitamins under £5 anyway!
Hi Lindos hope you're ok, I went into Boots at around1.30 and there was a shelf full of shots then, I only took 3 as there were only 3 vitamins that I wanted.
Me thinks that we probably have lurkers on ere who live near us unless it is the chap who is 28 and I cant remember his name (sorry if you are lurking!)
If I see any later in the week do you want me to get you some?
xIf it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0 -
Hopefully they will check him out, its also possible he has an underlying infection. Ive seen many quite confused elderly people who have improved really quickly once its been identified they have an infection (usually UTI) and start antibiotics. Keeping my fingers crossed he gets sorted out.:)
I thought he was quite young, 67 to have had a fall but as they have found he has arthritis its understandable. It must have all been a great shock to him0 -
