  • MTM - Can see a recipe for Branflake cake - does it ring any bells?

Doesn't ring any bells but might fit the bill anyway.

I shall give it a try in muffin tins rather than a loaf - many thanks.

weird food and toilet roll confessions?! really? :p

ok then, no weird food for me(I think), toilet roll... we usually put a new one on top of the old one :o I prefer to hold it in my hand when I use it :p

now what I'm fussy about is the way I hang up my laundry  the small items(socks & underwear) goes at the bottom, tops and tshirts middle and jumpers&trousers top and adding to that bf's stuff goes on the left side, mine on the right :rotfl:can't look what the airer looks like after bf has done it

Update on FIL, doctor has been out and its definately NOT a stroke - phewwwwww!!!! but OH now taking him back to hospital as Doctor reckons it could be a broken hip, as he can't weight bear and is experiencing excruciating pain in his groin when he tries to stand !! OH rang the hospital and they didn't even xray his leg/ groin area only his shoulder - how stupid is that considering he complained of pain and couldn't weight bear whilst in the hospital!!! so now got to sit tight and wait again for any news...

Thank you for the pm's really appreciate all your input xxxx

    Glad it wasn't a stroke.

    Question of the day:

How do you hang yours? I remember someone asking on FB ages ago and it was surprising how so many people are fussy about what way around the loo roll has to be. Personally I prefer the paper to come from over the top and hang down the front.

I was told that this is the hygenic way to do it, so that "contaminated" hands, when tearing off the sheets, don't come into contact with the wall behind the toilet roll!!:D
