Am i the only one with a hopeless husband when it comes to getting a deal.I just sent him to boots to buy 6 shots and 6 vitimins @79p and some batteries @£4.07 i told him it should come to around the £2 mark. This boots doesent have any ss tills and i didnt want to buy anything else so he had strict instructions that if they wanted to charge any more or there was a problem to just leave them and walk away easy you might think .No not for my husband he just phoned me to say he has bought them all for £7 .74 the sa put them through and said that will be £1.97 my husband then handed over £10 to which she said oh no that cant be right she put them all through again and of course it came to the same amount again. She then called the manager over who decided to put some of the items through and then said that will be £7.74 to which my husband paid and walked out hes answer to me is what could i do she had my £10 note [ ask for it back i think].They will be going back tomorrow and in future stick to getting the deals myself [in fact i think he was overcharged wont know untill he gets in tonight and i can see the reciept.Sorry for the rant

hubby laughs at my kitchen everytime he goes in them, full of cleaning stuff, shampoos, loo rolls, cereal and jars of sauces he thinks i have gone mad lol

It's took a while but I've learnt their's no such thing as going OTT on a glitch when it's household stuff that you'll always use. The amount of times I could have kicked myself a few months later for not getting enough of something!!!That's why I've had my shelves strengthened!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

I am a raw veg addict on sundays I have to buy 2 caulis one for me to eat in the kitchen the other to serve at the table, swede sprouts peas carrots broccoli I shove it all in my gob rather than in the steamer then wonder why I push my food round my plate :)

Sound like me. I LOVE raw broccoli.
My fave is broccoli salad. A broccoli head broken into florets. A dollop of mayo thinned with cider vinegar and a touch of sugar mixed n pored over the florets. Top with pumpkin seeds.
I could live on stuff like this very contentedly. My family-NO WAY! :(

I'm trying to catch up and totally failing... spent far too much time in Mr T's and Boots the last 24 hours!

Hell the time wasn't wasted though, best 24 hours ever!

2 x Boots glitches different stores 12 free shots and 12 free vitamins and cash off my shopping , DTD on ood sel on £80 straiteners total cost 1p ( wasn't even on a clipstrip!:D ), 62p back off a womble and fish pie and a curry for 30p whoopsied each!

Somehow the cheap meals don't seem that impressive in the scheme of things!

Today I am totally impressed with myself and not ashamed to say it!:T:T:T

Please can a kind and lovely person add my guess of 66p to the hamper list and tell me if I have missed anything important today?

    TIA!!!
:) Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be :)

    And get lots of glitches!

I am off to the Asian supermarket tomorrow I get 5 big bunches of coriander for £1, 5 x 500ml tubs natural yogurt £1, the 400g bags of spices are cheaper than the swartz (sp) tiny jars in T's plus the fruit/veg/salad items are so much cheaper, garlic is sold by the kilo each head works out around 8p

    I'm going to one now.

I buy the big tubs of ready to use garlic.
Lasts me six weeks and at a fraction of the cost of normal garlic. Might post a pic when I get back.

I feel guilty buying chicken from them though but it is such good value.
I try not to think of it :(

Hi Daisy - put simply if you buy 3 x vitamins and 3 x shots then you get the shots free and £1.99 off your shopping ( including the 2 chargeable vitamins )

    EG 3 shots and 3 x 79p vits = £1.58 cost - £1.99 = 41p "credit" towards rest of shopping.

6 works even better, you get £5.97 off your shopping, inc cost of vitamins. For some reason you get the 2 x £1.99 AND one more so if you buy 6 shots and 6 x 79p vitamins you have a credit of £2.81 towards your additional shopping. The credits remain the same whatever vitamins you buy so if you buy pricier ones you'll get less credit etc.

It makes no sense at all... but I was told today it's unlikely to be ending soon:T:T:T

Thanks for this - im might go try it later then - i haven't had the nerve as I didn't quite understand it ! I could add some baby wipes in I think - something I need !

Why feel guilty? If they're selling it at good value maybe it didn't cost them that much?;)
