Need to do a 'proper' shop in a mo. I hate that.
Need 'proper' items like fresh coriander, chicken breasts, plain yoghurt, chutney, Poppadums etc. all stuff you can't bank on getting whoopsied.

Ggrr. My purse is gonna be groaning in a mo. It's not used to being raided so terribly.

Any good uns (bargains) that are still current that I can look for whilst there. I can't come back without some item to redeem myself!

    :D

Are you having a curry by any chance?

Sounds so healthy! I could knock that back no probs. family are too fussy though.
If I lived alone, my shopping could be a fraction of the small budget I already stick to. They are all fussy chops though.
I'd also be a veggie if I could persuade em but I have tried n tried.
I'm too practical to make myself a different meal so I eat along with em!

Oh me too JJ! I'm so experimental with food and love to try new things but I'm so restricted because my hoursehold are a a bunch of fuss pots too! To the extent that only 2 eat pasta or anything with spice in at all, the other 2 will only eat processed carp! :( Bloomin annoying when you love to cook! :p

I am off to the Asian supermarket tomorrow I get 5 big bunches of coriander for £1, 5 x 500ml tubs natural yogurt £1, the 400g bags of spices are cheaper than the swartz (sp) tiny jars in T's plus the fruit/veg/salad items are so much cheaper, garlic is sold by the kilo each head works out around 8p

OMG Caz I only spotted that yesterday too - I was delighted when I saw them sitting on the shelf and picked up two -when I checked the SEL:eek::eek: I scanned them too just to be sure but they scanned at that also !

BTW - with the boots glitch does anyone know what way it works do you have to actually pay for the vitamins (as I stocked up a while back on vits so don't need them) and get the shots for free or is the vits and shots free only paying for the extra items that costs less than £1.99 - sorry I know its o/t !

Hi Daisy - put simply if you buy 3 x vitamins and 3 x shots then you get the shots free and £1.99 off your shopping ( including the 2 chargeable vitamins )

    EG 3 shots and 3 x 79p vits = £1.58 cost - £1.99 = 41p "credit" towards rest of shopping.

6 works even better, you get £5.97 off your shopping, inc cost of vitamins. For some reason you get the 2 x £1.99 AND one more so if you buy 6 shots and 6 x 79p vitamins you have a credit of £2.81 towards your additional shopping. The credits remain the same whatever vitamins you buy so if you buy pricier ones you'll get less credit etc.

It makes no sense at all... but I was told today it's unlikely to be ending soon:T:T:T
:) Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be :)

    And get lots of glitches!
  • I've just come back from co$tco and didn't buy anything it just seemed so expensive after MrT's.:)

For all the doctors and other interested parties here, I've just got back from the docs.

He took blood pressure inc listening to my pulse as he did so, checked pulse, lungs heart, glands etc etc. Could find nothing and said no indication of lung infection or fluid.

I've had blood taken and will be checked for glucose, kidney function and thyroid and have to gofor a chest xray and ECG next week.

I was worried before today, now I'm terrified!!! lol

I'm sure you'll be fine, I had all that done 2 years ago as well as other stuff:eek::eek::eek: And they discovered a few bits and pieces not quite right that they sorted;)But I ended up thinking that it was a good MOT for my body:)
Not a glitch, but if you haven't already signed up to Unilever VIP, pop in here, sign up and one of the coupons you can choose is £1 off any Persil product (you can print 2 copies).

    http://www.facebook.com/UnileverVIP?sk=app_122430854497956

The big 625 ml bottles of Persil washing up liquid are on offer in Asda for £1 at the moment, so 2 free bottles. I can't find it in T, don't think they stock it.

Not a glitch, but at Sainsbos, two large fairy liquids for £2-50 and on the discount codes and voucher thread there is a coupon for £1 off, so using two coupons the Fairy is only 25p a bottle!:j

Thanks guys, got a bit lax on the coupons lately but I have a brand new lappie now so;););)

Anyway, for lunch me and OH had homemade sausage rolls (Made a while back and frozen) made from the glitched pastry a while back and whoopsie sausages. Tonight we've got Whoopsied chicken, Glitched jar of casserole mix 10p from ages ago and whoopsied tatties for the mash. I'm going to make some extra gravy, love a bit of gravy me and to make it I'm going to liquidise the last bit of lamb stew from yesterday cos it was delish:TStrange mix lamb and chicken but it could work, and the lamb will be liquidised, just tasted so nice and theirs loads of veg in it so it'll be a right healthy gravy;)
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:
