I managed to get that urine sample from Bonnie. I took the other two out for their full walk, and then, as usual, took Bonnie for her short walk. She always has a wee on the edge of the grass area just outside our's, so I was ready with the lid of an ice cream tub to cover a larger area and then poured this into the sample bottle. Threw the lid in the bin straight away, but had to pop back inside to rinse outside of bottle and wash my hands  but at leaast I've got a good sample and can drop that in to them tomorrow morning. Anyone know if I should keep this in the fridge or not  inside a sealed bag of course :o

Loved the idea of using a ladle :rotfl: :rotfl: but she gets so low to the ground that there is no way I'd get a ladle under her ;)

Was looking forward to some Huggies vouchers but alas, not meant to be.

My 'lump' is just below where you Adam's Apple would be. If you follow your throat down to where you feel the 2 nobbly bones either side, that's where it is. Sometimes I get something up but more often than not I don't. I've had this most of the last year. There was me thinking that by now, I'd feel better for not smoking :(

Celebrate - come tell us we're not hypochondriacs. :p

i had a big lump where your describing basically where it usually dips in under adams apple if that makes sense and had to have my thyroid removed (well half of it) could be related to your thyroid??

    :hello:Good evening Elite, hope everyone's well :A

I've been pretty busy today. Went on the bus as I really can't justify more petrol money after my 70 mile trip on Monday! :o Set my alarm to see if the 75% Boots sale was on, saw that it wasn't and went back to bed for a couple of hours :D Caught the bus to my nearest Boots with SS as the vitamin glitch is still on...woop woop! Was so pleased when the sheves had both the cheap vitamins and shots as I was convinced it would be empty :T So I managed 3 lots of 6, got myself in the most horrendous pickle though, very embarassing, the SA's must have thought I was a nutter :oI was in there for 1hr15mins!! Good job it's a big store :p Anyone that's done the Boots glitch (particularly those that have done it a few times) can you tell me please tell me if you've used your Advantage card each time? TIA

Bl00dy bus broke down on the way back :( Can't complain really though, the driver was fab and got us going again quite quickly :)

Needed milk tonight and used up a £4 off £20 conditional spend and some coupons to bring a shop down from £20.67 to £10.67 in my local T's. Yesterday I popped in for eggs but no clipstrips so imagine my surprise to see 4 clipstrips full of Lindt eggs with the correct stickered barcodes....scanning at £1.50 :mad: Tbh I wasn't surprised after the press coverage but still :p

Off to catch up on what I can :D

ive been using my advantage card on all purchases but does make it a bit longer to get through the tills so if a member of staff was hanging around trying to nose then could be better not to use it xx

Flip I've no idea! I know my weight fluctuates. I weigh less when I preggers and more when Ts have chocolate glitches :o

Batch 1 of casserole made. Got 4 dinners out of it. Batch 2 in the oven. That means I will get 8 dinners out of £2 worth of ingredients! Go me :D

Thank you very much glitchb*tch and debs:) It didn't occur to me until today that maybe I shouldn't be using my advantage card :(:o I won't be getting anymore now but I have done a total of 7 transactions, 4 on Monday and 3 today. The 4 on Monday I used my Advantage Card because the 1st time I used a coupon, the 2nd and 3rd time I got in a faff and ending up just handing it over and the 3rd time I was returning something at the same time so she needed my card for the points to be removed. Today I didn't use my card at first because I froze the SS till as it said points needed to be adjusted and the screen died! So I said I'd forgotten something and went back and didn't use my advantage card, saying I now couldn't find it in my bag :oBut then I realised I needed to use it to get my extra points so I went to a till after and asked for them to be used with the voucher. I'm now worrying, yeah nothing new there but could they actually do anything?? :o

Evening all. Can not believe the saga with HC :(:(

To the forum team: I understand you do not wish to discuss this but I have to bring up a point about something you said. You stated you have warned HC, however a common issue with people with aspergers syndrome is that things like that do not sink in straight away. You can check with any professionals on this. A "normal" person will be told something once or twice and they understand whereas someone with Aspergers has to have it repeated over and over, I understand that his language was not appropriate but maybe it was not explained enough or in a way that he could understand.
An example I can give is my son has aspergers, I have spent most of his life telling him roads are dangerous and not to run out, last year he ran out and almost got ran over, and do you know what he still occasionally runs out. I know it sounds like I am saying you should have one rule for HC and another for other people but I am not but perhaps reconsider the way he is dealt with.
Aspergers is a disability, especially when it comes to social communication please do not alienate him if you take the time to explain to him then you may understand the difficulties he has.

And so I do not get into trouble: Went to leeds T's today (batley) who's stomping ground is that? Was nothing I could see but only had 5 minutes other than 2 toy story car sign things never put my 2p in as quick :p Off to bed now as been a bit of a long day had a heavy physion session and the electric tingly nerve pads have worn off now!
Argh who was it with the foot? erm fudge or snap ant erm maybe not but ouch that looks bad hope you find a cure soon. And *hugs* to those with the anxiety problem, also whoever it was that went to a&e you did the right thing.
    Night all x

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)

This sounds exactly like a friend of mine over a year ago. She was rushed into A&E as it was feared she was having a heart attack at work.
She had all the symptoms but when they did an ECG it was clear.
It transpires (several months later after countless tests and toing and froing from the hospital that she has a haitus hernia.
She suffers terribly with reflux and chest pain....but to correct it surgically is a pretty invasive operation involving lifting her rib cage to get at it!

I also have a hiatus hernia. I was supposed to have it operated on at the same time I had my gall bladder out, but on the day of the surgery the consultant said my trachea was too narrow and my peristalsis didnt work properly so they couldnt fix the hernia. I,ve had it kept under control (most of the time) with tablets since then but fortunately I do not like spicy food which aggravates this condition. I also sleep sitting up in the chair when its really bad. It helps to have a lot of pillows on your bed never lie flat.Hope this helps anyone who is suffering with reflux.
