Firstly, is this true or is it wind up? And secondly, might one be permitted to ask the subject matter of the allegedly offensive posts? (I sincerely hope it wasn't anything to do with the ridiculous Bhurka nonsense this morning).Hope is not a strategy.0

Really? Wow! I find following this thread time consuming enough with only one identity ... never mind 3!!0 -

thank you happy
I'm sorry but I find that post heightist, rotundist and highly offensive to razors!!
I'm not even going to comment on the 'dark lids' :rotfl:
Sorry.... **looks for the sofa to hide behind**
Was just trying to lighten the mood a little..........done half the car but totally shattered now but still gotta go finish it. Can;t believe how tired and out of breath I am at the moment0 -
If the people who banned Happy read his signature, they would surely realise he has Aspergers and as such is sometimes unaware of the boundaries other people adhere to.
As others have said, as soon as anything untoward has been pointed out...he has immediately apologised and offered to delete any posts perceived to be offensive.
This is why I am sure that if Happy had been warned about any bad language, he would have immediately stopped using it and apologise profusely.
I think he's a gentle giant, who wouldn't intentionally harm a soul. I also believe this forum has provided him with the friendship he might have been lacking in "real life".... and I hope any mods reading this will understand our reasons for wanting him back.0 -
May I ask who was reading the thread at the point where the deleted posts were made? I've been dipping in and out intermittently, catching up, and I haven't seen a lot of posts from Happy today. At the moment I'm baffled.Hope is not a strategy.0

I too have voted for HC to be unbanned.
But I fear we're preaching to the converted on this thread!
For the board guides, who have instigated this banning, I think you can see by these comments over the last few pages, that HappyChappy84 was actually well thought of, by the majority of this thread, and it's previous incarnations.
He was always part of the thread, informed, supportive, guiding. Yes, his Aspergers made posting on the thread sometimes difficult for him, but ina society where talking to new people was difficult, on this thread he found he could.
I do not believe any of his posts were offensive. Those that were perhaps close to the mark, he would willing delete if people asked him to.
I firmly believe the board guides should not ban HappyChappy84, but allow him to continue to be part of this community. The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -

So much has happened since I was online this morning.
HC post make me laugh out loud!!! Better than all the snipers that are on the other boards!!! I can understand why people are not happy with the language, but not to be banned!!!!!
It's CRAZY!!!!0 -
Stuff is still being deleted, every time I refresh the page it goes mental and I scroll up to find I'm not in Kansas anymore.0
