I only bought this phone 2 days ago and I'm having a problem using WiFi. I have successfully connected the phone to my home network but have found I'm still being charged when connected to the internet. Can anyone offer any advice please!!

Realistically, you cannot be charged if you have fully turned off?
I assume you've used the menu
Settings\Wireless and Networks\Mobile Networks\Data Enabled and removed the tick?
Unless you are paying some kind of standing charge for Internet capability...

Android will automatically disable the mobile data connection when a valid Wireless connection is made. There is no need to do it manually. Perhaps the OP can elaborate on what charges they are seeing?0

You sure you've not connected up then turned WiFi off??
You can't incur data charges if data has been turned off!0 -

Seem to have sorted it now. Realised I hadn't unchecked 'use packet data' in mobile network settings.
As I'm on PAYG my credit balance was being used when I was on WiFi.0
