o2 limited service message

Whilst out shopping the battery died on my mobile came home out it on charge and it came up with a message saying 'limited service'.
Turned it off took the sim card out put it back together and it was still the same.
Put the sim card in another phone and its fine.
Have just phoned o2 CS who have out in a report that they think my ohone has been maliciously blocked :mad:
If o2 cant unblock it is there anyway to get around this?

yes, buy another phone.

have you put another sim in your phone, to make sure it is the phone?

thats the whole thing im trying to avoid the thing is 6 weeks old!

the sim card works fine in my old phone and a new sim card doesnt work in my new phone!

it is the phone, hence why i asked if anyone new a way around it :rolleyes:

if its your phone and you had it from new and they have blocked it then they can unblock it easily.
ask them why they have blocked it?
there is no legal way to unblock it apart from the service provider lifting the bar
