Yankee Candle Help

I bought a Yankee candle tart thinking it was an actual candle but it smells really nice (cherry vanilla).

Now I need to buy a tart burner/wax burner but don't really want to spend more than a couple of quid but so far all are £5+ with delivery.

Anyone know where I can find one for really cheap? I'll end up disposing it as I don't really want to buy the tarts anymore as it probably costs more buying those. Also, anywhere to buy cherry vanilla in a jar for a good price? Been in stores but no one really has that scent.
Pink is so not my colour :undecided

have you tried your local poundshops for the wax/oil burner? Asda? Tesco? they both sell candles etc in their supermarkets, so might have the burners too.

You'll probably get a cheap burner from https://www.yankeedoodle.co.uk. Great site and might get a jar from there ( they are closing down as moving to supply Kringle candles). Home store and More do cheap Yankee jars if you have one near you, but only selected fragrances.

Hi Bunty how do you know they are closing down, I've never heard of Kringle candles and wonder if they are better :)

Just wondered if Tart Burners are "clean" we wont do candles anymore since they made such a mess up walls etc, rather like the glass/metal burners - how long do they last i think it says 5 or 6 burnings. Rather like some of the new flavours that kringle do??
Better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.

They have a huge sale because they are closing down. It is on their website (and they certainly email me frequently). The Yankee Candles they have on the website is all the stock they have left they are not getting any more.

I haven't tried Kringle Candles yet.

Thank you for clarifying. It may be good excuse to try the other brand ESP if it's cheaper

i got a lovely tart burner from The Range for a pound, its just plain white but does the job.

I actually prefer the tarts as I find the smell will travel throughout the house rather than the candles which I can hardly even smell in the same room.

Do love my yankee candles though, and cherry vanilla is a great scent (my fave) that has a great throw.

I bought an oil burner from Wilkinsons on Saturday for £3.30 it is cream and has a removable dish, worked fantastically with my creamy caramel tart, loads more scent than with the samplers:)
  • Why are yankee candles not 'real' candles? :s
