I bought a radiator brush, which looks a lot like a bottle brush .. much bigger though
But in order to do the top, I undo the screw at the side of the radiator and take the top grill off (says she who has wondered how to do this for years and finally got around to doing this t'other week!)GC - March 2024 -0 -
I have a long handled duster thingy I bought from Tchibo last year it is specifically for radiators and I think they are having them back in the next few weeksBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Hi I need a bit of help here so who else to ask but the folk on here. I have a large radiator in my bathroom and as its a double it has what I can only decribe as a sort of two rows of 'waffle effect'between thr front of the rad and the back My other rads have a gap of around 2-3 inches so I can get a cleaning brush off the hoover down to swish up all the dusty bits, a bit like the waffle effect on a Vienetta IYSWIM I tried to get my hoover crevice bit down to get out the stash of dust that seems to be lodged there but its too thick to get between the waffly bits. How does one get the dust out I noticed yesterday it was quite thick. The rad is quite a large one and my fingers aren't very dexterous, plus they are no way thin enough to stick down there with a duster .So come on ingeneous pals some of you must have the same problem as me what do you do to get into the tiny blooming bits in the radiators:mad:0

kim and aggie used to advocate the use of a duster on a bent wire coathanger for cleaning the manky bits between radiators.........
cyclingyorkie rushes off to find a coathanger.......:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
