Postal, Text and Phone Competitions - Part 16

yep - amsquared definitely got the lion's share of lucky dust :rotfl: I'm back on postals again because my main board wins are so low that I'm willing to give it another go. Having said that, I gave up the phone and postals a few months back because I didn't win a single thing from them in 6 months and it was just too much money to waste on phone calls and stamps.
I do at least 100 comps a day and I've NEVER won a holiday - not even a couple of nights in a B&B in Skegness so if you can't afford the texts/stamps, I would give it a miss. Nothing is guaranteed in comping - even if only two people enter, you still have a 50 percent chance of losing (and I do, regularly)

Strangely enough I entered a postal competition many years ago on JFM and there were only two correct entries, I won but that was only fair as the other entry was my friend who I gave the answer to.

And how many people have paid out similar amounts to you and won nothing significant?
strange thing is i post the mag comps every tues/thurs on main board & always used to add the text/phone/ entry along with the online free entry, then,
i was advised (through a pm) the main board was for free entry only so it was a waste of my time & effort adding/amending the text/phone entry details each week, we can't post them in here as the rules are if they are free entry online they must be posted on main board as that takes priority (which i agree) so i pm'd a few friends on here for advice & they agreed with it was a bit silly to add the phone/text details on the posts, so i stopped doing them,
so why is my pm box continously full with peeps asking for details of the phone/text details ???
:rotfl:please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
This week's item: We're constantly told how Chinese buyers are taking the auction rooms by storm and splashing the cash on anything Oriental, so I paid close attention to this late 19th-Century Chinese padauk wood cabinet when it was up for auction recently. What do you think it made?
A - £2,200
B - £4,400
C - £8,800
Your guess is as good as mine, I can't find it anywhere.
