Thanks for the help guys, I couldn't get on mse properly last night for some reason so couldn't update.
Bonnie151's hubby got C spot on, it's Anne Hathaway ~ the actual pic they used is here.
Still not sure on "A" suggestions are Britney Spears, Leona Lewis, Gwyneth Paltrow.
I appreciate all the help :A

Just out of interest (it's probably been asked a hundred times before but I only stumbled across this thread as the photo question interested me), is there any value in entering these competitions where you have to pay £1 (or similar) each time? Do people who do this regularly win more than it costs them?

I appreciate that for individual competitions you can win, but overall how much have you paid out on these competitions - including those where you don't win?
And how many people have paid out similar amounts to you and won nothing significant?0 -

I'd still say Sarah Michelle Gellar. See http://weheartit.com/entry/1160893, for example. Not that pic, but not too disimilar.0 -

way i see it, compings a fun hobby, it's just the thrill
of winning & it's supposed to be fun, suppose it's just the same as paying for the net & entering all the comps on there,
everythings got a fee, always best to just enter for the ones you realy wantplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -

I used to do loads of phone and text comps, but got sick of never winning and when I got the phone bill it was huge, so I just stick to free with the occasional postal now.No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

No accurate figs but I think in the last two years I've spent about £40 a month on txts and stamps so approximately £1000 total spend. The main prizes have been £4500 holiday to Thailand, £1000 weekend at Turnberry, £500 weekend in Glasgow, £3000 holiday to St Lucia, £1500 holiday to Cyprus, £250 Yamaha keyboard, XBox 360, Katy Perry Tkts and a few other smaller prizes. So that's over £11,000 in prizes. Do I think its worth it - definitely YES.
I've won a few smaller prizes from free internet comps but none as good as the txts and postals.Best Comp wins in 25 years of comping. Holidays to Hawaii, Toronto, Thailand twice, Dubai twice, Cyprus, Spain, Lake District, Glasgow and London. A couple of £1000 wins as vouchers. 2 Dimplex Fires. Baby cot and chest of drawers. £500 of blinds. Shibumi Jacket. Various small cash prizes under £500 and shopping vouchers. Cosmetics & weedkiller!0 -

wow that is impressive! Is that haul just from postals and texts? I do the postals and buy 100 stamps each time, if i dont make at least the £40 back to cover the next 100 stamps i make a note and hopefully cover it with wins from the next 100 stamps. I've only had to make one note lol and biggest win from postals was the grazia goodie bag weekly one. I also do the cheap texts but only venture into the expensive text ones if its something i really want2012 - must pay off last CC and maybe overdraft then debt free woop!!
Jan wins - Craft stamp, Planet Dinosaur book, Clover butter, nail foils
Good luck all compers :j0 -
Maybe for you amsquared - but I don't have that sort of luck!No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
