Hi all, I was in Tesco in Aylesbury today and I overheard a member of staff say they are starting a big Christmas sale tonight and have 20 large crates to unload in the store this evening. Everything 75% off or more.
Is hoping 2012 is a better year for all

Southport Tesco had most of their Christmas stuff at 75% off yesterday when I popped in - lights, gift bags, ribbon sets, cards. Wrapping paper seemed to only be half price but didn't really look at them properly tbh as I'd got loads left from last year still!
Got some great coloured outdoor lights reduced from £18 to £4.50 and some lovely battery operated purple star lights reduced from £4 to £1.0 -
I went yesterdya and they had the £15 yes £15:eek: xmas crackers to £3.75 I bought a box but strangely everyone else was buying 4/6 boxes at a time, I also got some lovely xmas paper for 80p and other xmas crackers were either £1.25 or £1.75 for 5/6 so well worth it yes and a massive plastic santa sack for 75p0

Nothing different from yday in my store.... some wrapping paper/xmas stuff left.. duvets, few toys like mega blocks etc, microwaves, kettles etc half price... but no AMAZING deals.. I am waiting for wrapping paper to go down even more. I didnt see anything about 75% off anywhere! Mind you might get better deals in a bigger store with room to stock more, mine is only a superstore with 1 seasonal aisle and limited clothes (socks, knickers, pants etc)

What kind of tescos was this? I might try and pop into a bigger store like slough sometime this week. Our store has just got some cheap cards left for 88p a pack (for 30) No crackers/nice xmas stuff left and wrapping paper is still up at 1.99 for a four pack which is still too expensive for a sale lol.0 -
I went yesterday and there were loads of rolls of paper, cards, ribbons etc with 75/ off. Also piles and piles of Xmas crackers and staff still filling shelves ! Xmas lights said 50/ off but were 75/ off hth0
