Hi everyone, just a little note to let some of you know that I popped into my local wilkos and they had run out of them but when I asked at the helpdesk I was told they were restocking next weekend and they would still be for £20. I hope that helps someone. My local is High wycombe branch, in chiltern centre. I'll see you there next weekend!0

Didn't get one in my Wilkinsons but they did have the Bayliss Root Boost for 75% off (£6.25) - last one so I bought it. Does anyone know if it is any good? Might use it as a present!0

:j:j:jThats Brill. I desperetly want one but cant bring myself to spend more than £20 as I seem to have made it my mission to get one at that price. I wonder if it will also be the same in the Aylsebury branch. If not see you in Wycombe:T:T:THi everyone, just a little note to let some of you know that I popped into my local wilkos and they had run out of them but when I asked at the helpdesk I was told they were restocking next weekend and they would still be for £20. A friend of mine picked these up for £10.00 in Wilkinson's Carmarthen last week

Have a look for the youtube clips for root boost. Its weird but seems quite effective! Basically you crimp the underneath hair near the root and the top layer sits on top of it, so you don't see the crimp just the lift. Not sure if I explained it that well!Smiles are contagious

You have to be fairly accurate and careful with the root boost and not use it too close to any parting as it would be noticeable. Does the job for the rest of hair though and (my) hair at parting then covers the root boosted bits. I wouldn't use it all of the time however.
Got to say the BIG HAIR is great!!! at any price. Thanks again OP I have 'bouncy hair' and my hair IS fine, flyaway and could never have been described as bouncy before, plus SO easy to use (took a couple of goes mind)
I am off to see if I can get the wave envy still, might as well have a matching set. . . . when I think I WAS going to buy a posh hairdryer. . .this option has been a lot less expensive and tbh I don't have the hairdressing skills needed for the conventional one.
Very happy thanks again.0 -
Can anyone tell me if this is normal. I've tried it twice and love it but as i'm styling my hair it makes my hair so hot its too hot to hold. I only usually use a hairdryer so it may be completely normal but just want to check i havent got a dud. Thanks
Mine's not hot at all like that.0 -
