Hi guys..
Just wondered if anyone knows of a way I can cut down my monthly premium rate on my Tesco car insurance.
Here are the details:-
1. Fully comp.
2. 4 years no claim discount.
3. Excess - £75 for windscreens & £150 for other claims.
4. Breakdown assistance - £86.10
In total I am paying approximately £36.71 per month. I have just cancelled the courtesy car bit (which was £15.75)
Are there any other car insurance providers where I can get the above (dont really need the courtesy car) for say £30 per month or less.
Cheers mate:beer: c

Cancel the breakdown assistance - it's cheaper with the AA/RAC0

confused.com and insuresupermarket will compare the market prices for you.
Increasing the excess, cutting the annual mileage and garaging the car will usually help

Ring around or go to confused.com is the best thing and look for a better deal.
Have you finished the years cover with your insurer now as they MAY make a charge for ending the policy early, whether you pay monthly or not. Ring then and ask first or check the T&C's other wise you may find a good dead but then still have money to pay to your current insurers.Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0 -
Remember that you are probably paying a fortune for the privilidge of paying monthly. Also your quote will be based on your age and location.0

I'm the same right now - I am struggling to get a decent quote for my Escort 1.8tdi
I keep getting hit with over £400 which is bleeding ridiculous for a 35 year old, with loads of no claims discount, and the Car is a W reg 2000 model.
I keep hearing fo folk saying " I got my car insurance for £150 etc" but I never seem to be able to get these kinds of deals. Have tried moneysupermarket, confused etc all the screenscrapers and can't get it below £400??
help anyone?I have no more money to give - all you companies out there - do your worst - I give in!!
