Because there FD ! everyone knows how 'awesome' they are :)
    HSBC (Main A/C)
    Halifax Back up A/C
    Lloyds (Spending) A/C
    RBS Back up A/C
    Barclays Old A/C
    Nationwide Old A/C
  • I would avoid Lloyds TSB at all costs I have received nothing but a shocking service from them, which ever branch I seem to go to no one is helpful and appear to say one thing and do another!!

Bad Credit History - Barclays Cash Card account or Co-operative Cashminder account ! Both are pretty Much full current accounts with debit cards and are cra reported monthly ! Both debit cards are unrestricted to.

Medium Credit History - Nationwide Flex Current account, Lloyds TSB classic account with vantage, Yorkshire bank's current account.

Good credit History - First Direct all the way !!

  • I would avoid Santander, they may offer good enticements but their customer service is appalling. They always come bottom of the customer service polls and with good reason, it's just not worth the aggro in the long run. Better to get a slightly smaller return on your money but good customer service in my opinion.
