I probably have a credit rating of minus 10 squillion and guess what.
I couldn`t care less. Why would you?

If more people lived within their means and stopped spending money that isn`t theirs there`d be none of these stupid credit companies around.

Regarding your OH,tell him/her to grow a pair,or does he/she give bank details to every Tom !!!!!! and Nigerian that tell him/her theres millions of dollars sat waiting,or you`ve won millions in a lottery you never bought a ticket for.

Unfortunately some people have at some time in their lives a need to buy a house. I cant see many being able to save enough to buy one out right.

Did you get a letter from the parking company? Either "PARKING UTILITIES LTD" or their old company name CENTRAL TICKETING (P&D) LIMITED, or was the first contact after the ticket on the screen from Roxburghe?
The reason I ask is neither of those companies are on the BPA AOS and I asked the DVLA about Roxburghe seeking keepers details and got this in reply!

    Dear Esmerobbo,

Thank you for your email regarding the release of information to the company Roxburghe Ltd.

Roxburghe Ltd request information from the records held at DVLA for the following purposes,
    · Requesting payment for unpaid parking charges which Roxburghe will then pursue.

    · Requesting vehicle keeper details to allow their clients to issue a parking charge.

Roxburghe are only permitted to request information relating to parking charges issued by a BPA, AOS members. Roxburghe are unable to request information from the DVLA for parking charges unrelated to a BPA AOS member.
Roxburghe are also members of the Consumer Credit Trade Association.

I hope this helps to explain why Roxburghe are permitted to request information on behalf of BPA AOS members.

    Kind regards

Another DVLA fob off letter. Nothing in there addressed the question you asked about Roxburghe getting details on behalf of a PPC who are not on the BPA AOS, apart from stating that Roxburghe cannot get info for companies not on the AOS.

Presumably your next letter will raise the issue of details being given by DVLA to Roxburghe for PPC's not on the AOS?

But isn't that all somewhat irrelevant as non AOS companies can get the info if they choose by filling in a manual request form and paying the fee...in fact ANYONE who can show a reasonable cause to need the information can !
